has anyone posted a picture of their drilled and tapped M39? I hear M39s are way more accurate than the 91/30s, just curious to see if anyone did.

An M39 with a PU scope mount and bent bolt handle? Blech.

I finally got an M39. Purchased it off a fellow Calgunner who bought this and never fired it. The bolt has two serial numbers, one scratched off and one correct with the receiver.

Default Pretty Pristine Pole 44

Here is a pretty Polish Type 44!! Pretty much perfect, pristine and unmarred. Just like it rolled off the manufacturing line in 1953.

Its a M91 so the sights are different than the later models. But you do not shoot with the sights up like that though. I am guessing he just put them us as a way to keep the rifle from tilting over or something.

1940 Tula 91/30. The Mosin Nagant sure is an amazing rifle... by far my first choice, should the SHTF.
