Default The Blue Glock 42 that kinda sorta maybe not really resembles the blue from Tiffany

We will be doing a special run on these Glock 42s that are a light blue and silver coated with cerakote. Get your lady something nice and spice up the safe with something diffeent.

Not affiliated whatsoever with Tiffany & Co and no jewelry or box comes with the pistol. Oh and in before the hate

$700, includes full cerakote of every part and 2 magazines. Wife hasn't shot hers yet so I can't comment on that.

How well does Cerakote hold up on the plastic? It would be tempting to fde up a pistol or two, but if it rubs off that would just be nasty. Dont want a bfpu look... The glock slide is too nice to paint over (for a newer gun at least) imo.

cerakote is very durable. it will start to wear with a kydex holster but if you stick to soft holsters it holds up very well. cerakote adheres to polymer very well. and if the OP gets a better pic with better lighting the color looks alot nicer.

No hate, just hoping you have some damage and attorney fees costing in that $700, cause its a pretty clear copy right violation if you intend to sell them.
Project for yourself? Cool, I approve. Though the guy with the Louis Vuitton MP5 still wins.

Why? It's just a color match from what I can tell.

The second you introduce "Tiffany's" into any description or marketing you've opened yourself up to their lawyers, and given the op's description and photography, might as well just hand over a check now.
Again, no hate, just looking out for the op, and IANAL.

Looks great in the photo and got to see it in person yesterday! The cerakote is solid, as if it came from the factory.

Yes but it's okay to use.

"Tiffany Blue is another example of a color trademark. It's important to understand that they only own that blue in situations where it could be confused with their products. Tiffany only owns "robin's egg blue" for its boxes and bags.

You can paint your house that color, for example, without having a problem. Given the wide range of products Tiffany sells, and the uniqueness of their shade of blue, they are protected from other jewelers who would use the same color for boxes or packaging. Otherwise, there would be brand confusion."

Nice. My wife chose the sig p226/229 with ergo grip as her gun of choice so I got an identical color job done, though I started with a two tone (stainless slide black frame) so I only has to get the frame cerakoted blue.

Though I know it would probably jack up the price considerably, it would be nice if the slide assembly were done in Robar NP3. I've had an obsession with that finish lately and have considered sending something in to have done just to try it out.

IMO NP3 or hardchrome would work better on the gun itself - you get looks and improved friction between moving parts, but cerakote is good enough.

He's completely lying. A Tiffanys box never leaves their corporation without a product inside. There's an old Tiffanys saying something to the effect of "it's the only thing we give away that you cannot buy". There's a huge market of people selling their old boxes and bags not to mention all the counterfeit ones eBay is full of them.
