Default my goodbye

Well LA folks...it's been a pleasure meeting you all at the shoots. I've enjoyed the conversations we've had about the different guns, politics, religion and of course NINJA's. Keep fighting the good fight for your 2A rights. I know this is wishful thinking but I hope Cali becomes a shall issue state.
Wanted to give a special thank you to Jeremy (happy camper) for organizing the meets and always being a gentleman and a scholar. You're always so generous.

In 12 days time I'm leaving California for the greener pastures of Oregon.
My company is relocating me out there for a new position.
There are many things I'll miss about Cali but 2 things I will not...bullet buttons and 10 rd mags.

Take care
-Ray

We're still house hunting but might end up in Eugene/Springfield, Salem or Bend. Depends on which one is more central for my assignment.

Bend or Salem hope you have a snow shovel!

Eugene is full of crazy hippees but some of the cute ones go topless so it is ok!

You might still be able to put in for Elk Tags!

GOOD LUCK!

Enjoy Oregon, it's definitely an improvement over California.

Good luck on the move. I know a lot of us here wish our companies would relocate us out of state. You'll be living the dream!

You'll love Texas. I was pushing to try to get that area but no go for me.
I work in the automotive industry as well.

Those are areas that mrsfunnybookz and I are considering moving. The only problems I have with Oregon are snow, not being able to pump your own gas, and no In-N-Out Burger (but that will probably come eventually, I mean they're in Utah and Texas now so…).

Congrats on getting some freedom back, too bad you have to leave to get it. :/

Will you be able to make it to this months LAX shoot?

It's doubtful I'll make the meet. I have a ton of work to finish up before leaving.
Wish I could get another trip to the range before leaving. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with all my ammo.

An elk tag is what you put on your trophy buck after a successful hunt. Otherwise you'd be poaching lol.

Good luck in FA (Free America). Enjoy all the fun toys denied us behind enemy lines!
