Default WTS: Interarms Mark X Mannlicher in .243Win

Make/Model: Interarms Mark X Continental

Caliber: .243 Winchester

Condition: The gun is in Very Good condition, and is mechanically perfect. The gun is a beautiful firearm, but there are some marks on the stock from storage over the years and use. The rifle also shows some marring of the blue on the magazine plate from light rust that occurred in storage (see pic #4). I'm the original owner, and I don't think I've fired more than 200 rounds through the rifle in the 35 years I've owned it.

Included is an excellent Bushnell 3-9x40 ScopeChief VI scope shown in the pictures. This Japanese-produced scope was Bushnell's premiere line at the time of its production. It is missing its top protection cap.

Location: Castro Valley (SF East Bay)

Price: $575 (cash only if FTF, USPS Postal Money Order if shipping).

Will ship (Y/N): Yes, at buyer’s expense.

Other info: This beautiful rifle was Interarms top-of-the-line Mark X model. The "Continental" model included a European walnut mannlicher stock and straight comb with cheekpiece, double-set triggers, and butterknife bolt handle. The barrel is 20" long. I am the first owner of the rifle, and have possessed it since the early 1980s.

Make/Model: Japanese WWII Type 99 Arisaka

Caliber: 7.7×58mm Arisaka

Condition: The gun is in sound condition. Wood has no distinct cracks, but shows wear from 70 years of storage. There was some surface rust on the gun, but it has been cleaned up and oiled. Resulting freckling is visible in the pictures.

The gun is missing its monopod, magazine follower/spring, and the rear sling mount.

I'm reasonably sure that I'm not the original owner.

Location: Castro Valley (SF East Bay)

Price: $300 (cash only if FTF, USPS Postal Money Order if shipping). (Sold to Bobby Ricigliano)

Will ship (Y/N): Yes, at buyer’s expense. Must ship to a Type 3 (C&R) or standard FFL.

Other info: I am not an expert on Arisaka's so I can only provide general info about the gun. I am told that, according to it's receiver markings, it is a series 23 Type 99 made in Kokura around 1943. It does have the anti-aircraft wings on the rear site, and the imperial chrysanthemum is present.

Make/Model: Browning Model B78 (24” straight octagon barrel)

Caliber: .45-70 Government

Condition: The gun is in Superb condition, and looks brand new. It amazes me that the gun is almost 40 years old. It is mechanically perfect, and I do not believe it has been fired more than a handful of times.

Aesthetically the gun only shows wear from storage. No bluing loss, and the only significant mark on the wood is a small mark on the underside of the stock. Mechanically, the rifle is perfect, and the action works smoothly.

Included is the nice Nikon 3-9x40 scope (model unknown) shown in the pictures.

Location: Castro Valley (SF East Bay)

Price: $900 (cash only if FTF, USPS Postal Money Order if shipping). See end of first message for possible trades. SOLD to jida81

Will ship (Y/N): Yes, at buyer’s expense.

Other info: Serial number (51xxx-RT147) reflects a production year of 1976. Inspired by the Winchester 1885 single-shot rifle, these were beautifully finished rifles that become too expensive to produce by the early 1980s.

Hi Gryff,

I know this is just a shot in the dark since you posted this rifle way back in 2014, but by chance do you still have it??
