M.O.A. Gunfighter Fundamentals - Apr 26-27
GunFighter Fundamentals is an introduction to AR platforms and firearms safety with an emphasis in the following disciplines: Introspective and ambient safety considerations, AR familiarity, weapons manipulation, fundamental marksmanship and zeroing, preventive maintenance and introduction to cover-based shooting (CBS)
Shooters will be able to safely employ their weapons in controlled environments and comprehend CBS by utilizing the fundamentals learned in Gun Fighter Fundamentals. The CBS techniques learned in GFF will be the foundation for the rest of the Gunfighter series and can be applied to individual and co-operational threat mitigation. Shooters will have the confidence of continuity of training by the practice techniques learned in GFF. Each qualified shooter will receive a certificate of completion along with opportunities throughout the course to complete challenges earning an MOA Mastery Coin.
This course is for everyone, the beginner / novice shooter as well as the more experience individuals. This is the first in a series of courses for shooter looking to master the art of urban carbine shooting. Less experienced shooters can expect a safe, controlled environment, a very devoted training cadre and a course chalk full of information meant to explain the art and science of CBS. Experienced shooters can expect to learn more detailed fundamentals and gain the urban shooting skill-set. All shooting in this class is done in 2 ways; on-line static or individual movement. This is to insure training does not conflict with safety.
