Today, April 1st, 2014 I received a notice from EoTech that the serial number of the sight I purchased was not in the range of serial numbers for the promotion.
They gave me until YESTERDAY, 3/31/14, to postmark a correction. I bought this sight on Dec 8th and mailed in the paperwork about a week later. These scumbags sat on the paper work for something like 10 weeks. The notice came all the way from Tempe, AZ to San Diego so it is pretty obvious these scoundrels timed the notice to insure I could not respond in time. I really want to know if it was just me that got screwed or was this promotion was a purposeful defrauding of a lot of people. 4/3/14 Update: EoTech says... "The serial number issue the rebate center is currently having is being resolved. Please contact the rebate center at 800-953-3098 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm Pacific Standard Time so you may obtain a fax number from them to resend them the serial number." I called and gave them my tracking number and they said I had already been resubmitted and should see the check around May 1st. Last edited by kneezer5555; 04-03-2014 at 11:07 AM.. I don't see any mention of 'units with serial numbers in XXX range' on the form. It only says must be purchased from authorized dealer. I would dispute the CC charge if you still have time just so you have a placeholder in case anything goes sideways, because you are probably nearly out of time to file a claim, and then call Midway and raise the alarm.

Got mine.
I think there is a serial number on the Eotech unit, take a pic of that and send it to eotech. I think this is what they need to issue a rebate.

I got mine, as well, but I did have to resubmit my paperwork. They apparently lost it and no one at their third-party call center could find it in their system. Once I resubmitted, it came through.
After a deal I got through DSG Arms and the rebate, I was able to get a FDE EXPS 3-0 for well under $500, so I'm happy. |

I've heard a number of stories as to who is to blame, but the rejections are mostly a mistake. So...
"Please contact the rebate center at 800-953-3098 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm Pacific Standard Time so you may obtain a fax number from them to resend them the serial number". I called and gave them my tracking number and they said I'd already been resubmitted and would probably see the check about May 1st. |

Update on mine, I guess the UPC code was missing on my submission...and they claimed that they sent a letter to me in February. I originally submitted in December. I faxed them the UPC code and called back. Check should be here in May.
This will bring my XPS2 from $500 down to $390! I had a 10% coupon on black Friday. |

They sold more than they anticipated & didn't relay the new production SN to their Rebate Center. Good on EoTech for offering this rebate and for the increased sales, I love their optics. CS Rep at the Rebate Center was very professional, voiced concern, and provided info. = TOP NOTCH in my book. Honestly, Letter has no bearing on my outlook of EoTech. Waited 2+ months for the rejection letter, posted on their facebook on how aimpoint will get my business from now on, got my rebate less than 7 days later.
