So I bought a rifle on gunbroker that has a " a real ACOG TA01". I plan on keeping the rifle with the ACOG, but in my mind I feel I can recoup my money and make some if I don't like it. My question is what are used ACOG's (TA01) going for. Lets say it is in excellent condition, with unknown manufacture date? I have not actually gotten the optic yet so I can't do a "brightness check". I know these will be rough rough rough numbers.
Lastly has anyone ever tried getting new tritium in their scope? Anyone know how much? Thanks |

From what I've heard different people have different experiences with Trijicon. Apparently they have killer customer service and if the optic fails their tests than they will replace it free of charge. I have also heard that they replace all internals etc. And even one case where they sent out an entirely new replacement.
Again these are things I have heard of happening. I never sent mine in nor had any contact with Trijicon regarding my ACOG. Might as well call them and ask and find out for yourself what the entire process entails. |

Update: I got the gun and the ACOG looks great. The optics are crisp and look good during the day. At night I can see the red but the lower half of the cross hairs kind of disappear when looking in. It seems like from the 600meter mark down it is blurry then gone. I just want to know if that is normal. Thanks for the help.
