before i clicked it i was thinking

please dont have a telestock please dont have a telestock

thank gawd

the railz are eh not so bad i like the redesign to bump the pivot forward so it can fold flat unlike the added trigger guard of old which messed up the fold tight design

although it is such a redesign i wish they would not use the m6 name

i wonder if they could add a floatation kit fat foam stock floaty handguard to mount to the rail

Greanade Launcher? Destructive Device. In-itself illegal in cali

Bayonet lug- not a thing anymore, anywhere. relic of the 1994 ban. has no bearing on cali assult weapon laws.

No .40?! That's the only caliber I've seen actually stay on shelves when there's nothing on the shelves.

For a utilitarian gun, it will work.
The foam insert (that hold the spare ammunition) leaves lot to be desired. I would stick with a 12ga H&R Pardner with the inserts.

Cheers.

Oh right single shot lol I totally wasn't thinking about that.

I was joking about the 'evil' features though.

anybody know how the action works is it striker fired, double action hammers?

they really should call it the m6plus

cause i prefered the hammer with the selector top, middle safe, bottom

also the door over the ammo is a plus

also is there some kind of atf rule about rifles with forward rails?

That was my first thought, too. Immediately file in the junk bin. But this promo ad:

leaves me wondering -- is the x-caliber system also available as a set of inserts for any single barrel 12g shotgun? Because then you're talking about something that potentially has an ammunition feeding system.

If that's just a misleading ad, and it's single-shot only, then I can only see it being useful as a hunting weapon in really bad circumstances (assuming there's some reasonable level of accuracy...I haven't seen any field tests for this new one). For any kind of defense you'd be very, very limited, and likely be badly outgunned by anybody with a concealed Glock.

I curious to see why so many are not liking that it is a single shot. It a survival rifle not SHTF. If I am understanding correctly this isn't ment to mow down the undead.

Part of survival certainly entails defense from humans. Shooting once, then having to break your sight picture, break your mount on the gun, and break your grip, then use your fingernails to pry up another round from the stock (or wherever), reload the gun, mount up, get a sight pic....you think an enemy in a firefight is going to take a nap waiting for you?

This is a survival rifle, eg. backpacking. Not SHTF. It's meant for hunting small game, not man.

Your right. the US military hasn't issued these as survival guns. Instead, they issue miniguns as survival guns 'cause, you never know.

I am not turned off by the single shot ability but more so by the .22lr. If anything a single shot to me means less moving parts=less chance of something going wrong. Again this is a survival rifle not a machine gun. I person have a T/C Encore and have no trouble shooting three round bursts/shots in rapid succession (on target). Like everything else speed and efficiency only comes with practice

What's wrong with a .22lr for taking small to medium sized game in a survival situation? Hell, a .22lr will drop a deer in it's tracks. Besides, one can carry a hell of a lot more .22lr than most centerfire cartridges.

Default .22lr

Nothing is really wrong with it. Personally unless I was starving to death I wouldn't attempt to shoot anything above a rabbit, raccoon, etc., with a 22lr. But that's just me.

then why advertise trade and barter for 9mm, 40 cal, and other handgun ammunition? If you are bartering you are interacting with other people that can turn potentially dangerous. If given just 1 rifle to lug around would you be carrying this?
