Hmm. Last few times I had CCI Blazer shipped it was 5.95 w/o their VISA. Looks like they've bumped the price on the ammo and the shipping.

Shipping rates are the same as they were 2 weeks ago.
The price hike just bumped it into the next $$ shipping slot.
They ship by price point, not weight.

Yes they bumped the Price $3 which puts it into the next ship category.
See BigC, Like SG uses $ amount not Weight to determine shipping cost.
For the schedule of rates Click HERE.

Since it's mighty popular and most orders are for the blazers w/nothing else,
I figure they're trying to offset ship cost for more profit...

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he misunderstood and thought this was Winchester ammo, it is made by Hornady actually. It is premium ammo and should run great in any 22 WMR firearm . I went ahead and got some today since I missed it yesterday.

Anyone know if Gander is not gonna carry the 375 rd boxes of troy landry and AR Tac anymore ? i am assuming there is very little of it left in the pipeline and it will be all 300 rd boxes from now on ? Just wondering if I should retire those links or not

Yeah...My Bad...In my haste to get it posted before OOS, I just did the C&P.
(These ol' fingers were a flyin')
1 would think the V-Max should've raised curiosity,
but I've been there when tired.
You know see "Insert Brand X here" and stop.
All fixed now.
I hope he see's it and adds it to the watch list 'cause that's a smokin' price for Hornady V-Max.
(Almost pre-SH prices.)

EDIT: I'll send him a PM

He's a part time gunsmith. He always has problem with his 11 Henry's and his 4 Mare's Legs with any Winchester mag. I believe he can shoot them in his 10-22 mags, but they still give him a problem now and then.

I can name 5 of my friends with various Ruger single six, ten, etc. who cannot load any Winchester 22. 40-60 % will not chamber because of the roughness
of the knurl. It's a wide spread problem with Winchester. Don't believe me? just look through Ruger Forum.

Smith and wesson recommend against most models of winchester if I remember right from reading the owners manual a year ago on my rifle or pistol, in fact winchester m22 seem to be the only good ones

Some people have posted up that they were flagged but after some time able to order again. In my dealing, once your flagged its not good and your account doesnt process order like it used to. Really tuff to tell.

Gentlemen,
I do not recomend double dipping.
That being said, I double dipped Cabelas a couple of weeks ago, about 10 minutes apart from the same computer and session to the same address with the same CC.
One shipped quickly, the other a few days later.
No back orders or cancellations.
I placed an order the next day with no problems, cancellations or backorders.
It is not the kiss of death.
Unless you are doing it flagrantly I do not buy into the bad boy list theory.
You might get flagged, you might not.
I just don't think the system or the employees are geared toward "catching" double dippers or creating a "bad boy" list.
The system and the employees are geared to sell ammo.
I did it assuming the system would stop me.
It did not.
I haven't done it since and will not do it again.
At any rate, double dip at your own risk.
Life will go on regardless of any action taken by Cabelas.
It is not a law, it is a very loosely enforced company rule.
It is in place to evenly distribute the supply and prevent hoarding.
The fact is, to one degree or another, we are all hoarding.

A) I get testing the system, so this isn't directed at you, but I have pretty low tolerance for people who think unethical behavior is fine just because the nanny government doesn't have a gun to your head to tell you not to.
B)To me hoarding is when people can't ever have enough and they are mentally ill. Stocking up is what I'd call what most people do, and it is completely different. We want to have enough that every little hiccup doesn't leave us at the whims of fliptards collecting unemployment so that they can camp at Walmart, clear the shelves, and flip for some under the table income. You add up all the fliptards that think it is fine just because it isn't directly illegal, and there is the shortage right there.

All the semi autos seem to run better with full speed high grain loads, but I've yet to find something sonic that will not run the M&P action. I had some kids learning the platform last weekend running 36 grain Winchester bulk and never had a hiccup. It's at two days in dusty environments and about 1k rounds of mixed Federal, Winchester bulk and M22, and zero feed or fire issues and no cleaning. The initial runs seemed to have some sensitivity, and S&W made a minor tweak to the mags, and changed the hammer spring to reduce the blow back resistance, and even SS loads (other than Calibre which are never supposed to be fired from a rifle anyway) seem to feed just fine out of it.

Are you talking to "me" when you say not to double dip??? And its not loosely enforced, go back several pages. Read where all the neebies were getting caught and there orders cancelled. And there orders after that were also getting cancelled.

Ive been warning folks for a long time, "Dont do it"....

I can certainly agree with your logic towards hoarding vs stocking up.
Perhaps hoarding was not the best wording in my statement.
Correct me if you think I'm wrong but I think we could all agree that if for just one month we all stopped buying beyond what we can shoot in a month or so and all the flippers stopped flipping, the market would correct itself to the point that we could all be comfortable with a months supply.
I do think we are all still "panick" buying based on the hindsight of the WWII like shortages of what we all took for granted in the pre obama good ole days.
I have put out the word to anybody in my sphere of life that i can get .22's at "regular" prices if they have the cash.
I have also narrowed my stock to Federal only and sell the rest at a price that covers what I paid+shipping and $1-$5 "profit" per brick for my time and gas to meet up with people.
I also pass on info about this thread to everyone who has bought some of my surplus.
In closing, I'm glad I "discovered" this thread and have had a ball following it.
Cheaper than going to the movies.

I always stocked about a years worth. During the first shortage, I shrugged, put my head down and carried on. Gave about half my stock away at cost, and shot about 2/3 of the rest. Never ran out of the calibers that flippers were hoarding and never paid or let a friend pay them a dime. This second time around I did the same, and other than .22, I never got low on anything since I didn't take any classes during the last two years except Appleseed. I think the compact size and lower overhead has made .22 easier to keep flipping and cleared off shelves. I think that is the only difference between the centerfire shortage being basically over while rimfire rages on. I forgot the guys name, but there is a guy on YT that tracks flipper inventories on the major auction sites, and not even counting the forums that every area has, there is enough .22 being sold for 4-5x retail to put an end to the shortage right here and now. People just need to wise up and give them the bird.

I don't remember if you ever outed yourself as a double dipper or not.
A guy is at his own discretion as to dd or not dd.
I do not judge.
I would think anybody who follows this thread would generally think it unecessary given the regularity that "finds" pop up here.
But to each his own.
I admittedly have much more than i can shoot but i like to be able to take new people out and set a brick in front of them and let them bang away with the cheapest ammo available to me which is .22LR.

Call it hoarding or stocking up I truly don't care! The fact is that some day the State of California is going to pass some ridiculous legislation limiting the ammo purchasing in this State. By either banning the purchase of ammo from internet sales, regulating the amount purchased at any given time/location, so much one can purchase in a month like the California Ammo Card I've heard about in the past.

This States like Paypal, Ebay are extremely anti-gun! If they can't get their way with the possession of weapons, I'm sure they can regulate what we the gun owners put in them without violating the Constitution!

With that said, I will NOT be taking ANY chances, nor will NOT be caught with my pants down. Can you imagine paying an additional tax on ammo in California? Tax per box, per round, can you imagine paying $0.05 per round tax on a box of M-22, Win555?

I will continue to buy, hoard, stockpile, stock up, purchase, trade as I see fit! I call it a hobby, kind of like collecting cards or coins...
