Post Optisan ACSS 1-6x scope

I think this model deserves its own thread separate from the P.A. 1-6 ACSS scope because of different specs.

ETA in March

Projected price $499

Possible specifications...P.A. staff please correct if wrong.

Scope construction same as Optisan Prestige 6Z
Weight 17oz+ with scope caps
Length 10.6"+
Adjustment 1/4 MOA clicks
Accessories included: premium O-ring sealed metal flip-up scope covers, battery and lens cloth
Warranty Quote: "All Optisan Prestige riflescopes are backed by a Lifetime Warranty right here in the US."

Please make sure the "metal flip-up scope covers" is the 270 degree lay flat type.

Does anyone know if the P.A. 1-6 ACSS scope is coming back or will this one replace the original? PA is out of stock now.

Maybe I'm confused. Is Optisan ACSS 1-6x scope the same thing as PA ACSS 1-6x? Or are they different models?

I'm assuming this is a Gen 1 vs. Gen 2 thing. And Gen 1 will no longer be made. If OP is right, then the price doubles from PA to Optisan model.

Can anyone clarify this?

If i remember correctly the optisian should be the beefed up version of the current 1-6x. So better optics and other stuff.

I believe that's the case as well. The Optisan scopes are from Japan and they are supposed to be a different (higher) class than the PA scopes. Some of the Optisan reviews suggest the 1-6x had a true 1x.

China can make good stuff and you have to pay for it , we do and test it.The new PA 1-6 will be the same specs with a much better QC backed with PA customer service . The patented ACSS,ACSS CQB-M,ACSS-HUD reticles will only be found in a PA optic at this time.

I have tested the New PA 1-6 ACSS for a while now and its an excellent optic with an amazing price point and reticle. 800 yard hits are made using M193/M855 anti cant device standard AR 15 16" barrel ACSS BDC and wind holds.
Also what I call a rat tail.

So in another month they will be on the site?

I was going to try to buy the PA 1x4 today but says out of stock. Luckily I remembered PA was a vendor with their own sub forum and saw this.

Ready to buy now. Hiking in Barstow with my AR and using just an aimpoint h1 kinda sucks without magnification.

your saying the new ACSS will have the same specs as the older one? No improvements? I too had a tough time seeing the reticle since it was smaller than I usually see (thin reticle) and also the glass didnt seem like it had enough true light coming through.

It has the same specs as Optisan. Now the reticle I personally made sure it was right it looks great! The glass is very very clear. The internals are upgraded. This scope is better then those $1000 1-6 now if it would only get here.
