Default R.I.P. Ammo

Saw this on another site.

Figured I'd post it, cause I know this are going to blow the HD market up and will be asked as soon as these hit the shelves.

Thoughts?

I kinda wish they showed the exit wound on fleshy targets like pig carcasses or something. Looks brutal.

Probably gonna follow the black talon. Banned in Kommiefornia almost as soon as they come out.

I'll take a few boxes in each caliber! Do they make them for rifles?!!

Id buy some, but I wonder how they would feed?

Do you think all those points would bend and smash up the feed ramp and FTF?

I was wondering the same thing. I'll see when my box comes. Was able to snag one earlier.

3rd party testing of RIP ammo

Glock 19 was used for testing. Five rounds fired with one failure-to-feed stoppage.

Manufacturer claim was trocar pens to 6" and bullet pens to 15-17".

Currently... MSRP = $50 for 20 rounds. Auction sites = $150 for 20 rounds.

Hmmm, i dont know, its just me but after you defend yourself, some prosecuting attorney during the civil suit would say you MEANT to shoot someone with ammo named R.I.P.
I'll stick to Critical defense.

The round looks cool, but I mean really, how often is someone breaking into your home where you would actually get a chance to use this? At those prices I doubt anyone will be taking that to the range to shoot paper.

That voice in the video is funny. It is like he grew up wanting to announce movies but never made the cut, so, he gets to talk about an overpriced bullet on youtube.

So the round works as well as .22LR without the layers of denim....

If police departments start adopting it, there may be some merit to it. It's never a bad idea to use the same stuff that the cops use, unless the cops are using ball ammo. My local PD uses hollow-points.

The difference is that cops need ammo like that on a daily basis. Our hope is that us "non-cops" never need to use it.
