Default Person with metal lathe needed

I need a small part made.

It will be made from bar stock steel.
Aprox 5/8ths diameter.
A .249 hole will be drilled all the way through.
1.5" oal
.75 depth 10mm hole
.75 depth .249 hole
One end will get the hole enlarged to 10mm
2 small set screw holes will be drilled and tapped at each end to "set" a 1/4" carbide reamer and a 10mm motor shaft.

It will look something like this but NOT have the spiral relief cut and be made of steel.

Your "location" shows as the Queen Mary. (???)

AR15 Barrels can most likely make this for you.
He is in Van Nuys.

Any particular steel alloy in mind? How deep do you want the 10mm section? What is the desired OAL?

methinks someone is making an automatic neck reamer. Why is steel needed? Aluminum sounds like it would work just fine?

Any steel will work, just something harder than alum. I think 1.5" oal and .75=10mm depth with .75 for .249 end depth 50/50. I also need two set screw drilled and tapped to hold the 10mm/.249 shafts.

Ok, I have several alloys in stock: 303, 304, 1018 and some drill rod that could be chucked in the lathe and done up in a couple of hours one evening. PM me if you still need the part. I'm about 15 minutes up Anaheim or PCH or Carson St from from you.
