Default AR 15 lower 80% Jig $60 free shipping. San Diego

I made 3 and am selling 2 of them to recoup machine time.

Top plate is 1/4" steel (not aluminum like most jigs) the lower pictured in the jig was machined in it.

Replacement top plates will be available if needed (made extras).

Comes with instructions.

Can you make me a set of side plates only at a lesser cost. I only need the side plates for doing the trigger, hammer, and selector holes. If you could, I would appreciate it a whole lot. If not that's cool too. Thanks

Default does this look right

Got the jig today and put onto my QD and does this look right? Should the 80% be flush with top? Any chance you have a video using this jig or how to. I Use to the top plate having all the darn little holes on top. Also when I put the top plate on it looks like its to close to the buffer tube pin hole. Looks like when I start drilling its going to drill into the hole. Maybe my eyes deceiving me but any help is appreciated. The 80% is pictured below the one i am using.

Looks right, the slot will come right up to the hole.
Even if you were to take some of the wall of the hole off it will
be fine.
You don't want to machine the other end to much because you will go into the mag release pocket.

That is how I do them on a drill press pretty simple and just take your time. I use the x-y vise because it makes moving it around easy. ebay or amazon have them for cheap....

Here are two videos that show how to do it with a drill press, in the video he shows a drill guide plate.
No need for it if you use to top plate for a guide.

Peck holes within the open template area, then go back and drill thru to depth

Once you get started its pretty easy.
