Hmm which one?
Hey everyone
Been looking into getting a scope for a future 308 purchase! Which one would you guys go with or if anyone has any experience with any of them that'd be great to know! http://swfa.com/SWFA-SS-16x42-Tactic...cope-P501.aspx http://www.midwayusa.com/product/740...-reticle-matte https://www.primaryarms.com/ProductD...ode=PA4-14XFFP |

Def skip the millet....
Probably skip the PA.... SWFA ss are a bargain and good quality. However what did you intend to do? hunt? competition? What kind of competition? How far do you want to shoot? Most of us now with 308 have or WANT a first focal plane mil/mil scope for competitions. They cost more but there are vortex PST and bushnell elite tacticals that have those features. Otherwise, out of your list, the SS all the way. |

Only things in your price range people recommend besides the SS... is Nikon buckmaster 4.5-14 side focus.
Solid scope. Been running one since they came out. Variable power is a lot more usefull than fixed power. Though I guess in comparison, a lot of people would say the SS is a better scope overall than the nikon.... You still you wont go wrong with that nikon- and it's variable power. Only other options that I dont have personal experience, that I see other people suggest are weaver and redfield though I cant help with specific models/info. |
