My surplus P6 with plenty of character and a set of Pachmayr Signature grips.

She's ugly, but she's mine.

Here's my 5906 with the old standard grips.

Here it is with some old 4006 grips I snagged for $10. Did some modification on the grips to give it more grip. I like the straight angle of the 4006 grips.

A few new pics I took.

And here's a snap shot of something that still needs a bit of work.

Did you have to order the stainless slide as an additional part, or did it come as one?

It comes in the black stainless with melonite finish (or bruniton...i fergit). I sent it to dan burwell (the M&P mastersmith) for a bead blast. That's the normal satin SS finish on there. I was going to see how corrosion proof it was before deciding on a finish like np3 or other nickel finish.

I'm diggin the stainless appearance, so much easier to clean and it looks better I think.

Dan Burwell does a nickel teflon coating as seen on this dirty MP40 he did:
http://mp-pistol.com/boards/index.ph...pe=post&id=193
Note the slide lock and take down also done. Not much difference in appearance from mine just being bead blasted, but there's a world of difference in wear and corrosion protection...never even needing lube probably with the teflon baked in. Dan also sharkskinned the grips and lightened the trigger to 4lbs. Lots of work in that gun. Looks like he got the same precision shooters FO sight put on..can't see what color it is tho.

Here is my SW Sigma .40ve. I know..I know...lots of people complain about the trigger pull. This is a great gun. Keep it as my can of "whoop-a.." and ready to go into action. The pocket knife also comes with the package.
