Just a simple mag-locked carbine.
I had the Bushmaster Carbon-15 upper from a trade a few years ago and just purchased the matching lower from a fellow Calgunner. A few pieces later, with the Aimpoint T1, a KZ mount, Hogue grip and YHM folding sights, done. Gotta weigh it.

Love it! I want to do another build, nearly identical with all MOE parts. I'm planning on using a 14.5" barrel with A2 FH and a mid-length gas system.

Beautiful KISS rifle sir!

It's a CASV-M (mid). This is one of my first ARs and still one of my favorites.

Doesn't look horrible imo, but yeah 20 & 30 round bodies do look better. Hope they don't ban them =/

Just as long as he knows which end to shoulder and which end to point at the target.

Nothing to be ashamed of. When I got my very first upper, I didn't even know how to install the charging handle and BCG LOL.

And since this is a picture thread, here's my AR pistol:

I see a lot of very heavy and over accessorized safe queens that look like they have never been shot.

I decided to do a KISS carbine lightweight build. As simple as it comes. 14.5" barrel with pinned flash hider, 1 in 7" twist CP MP 5.56 NATO. A1 upper with teardrop forward assist. Basic polymer 6 position Mil-Spec stock. A2 grip with finger rest sanded off. Sling loop attachments taken off FSB and stock. Sling will be attached with 550 cord.

Awaiting parts for assembly, LPK, BCG, charging handle. Mocked up with zip ties at the moment.

Just painted her last week, this is now my hunting rig. Feels like a whole new rifle can't wait to take her to the range and test out the new VG6 brake
