Well I'm in Riverside county and got my CCW on the premises of my DEA license... Obviously I used that to my advantage but hope for the most liberal issuance as allowed by law.

If you read through sac ccw threads, it's one of the easiest counties to obtain a permit. The above responses work fine. The only problem its now a long wait, as in more months to get an appointment than rounds your magazine can hold.

I concur with the above.

Unless there's something about you they know that would specifically prevent you as an individual from being approved (and I'm assuming for the sake of argument that's not the case), they are clueless and misinformed. Sounds like a case of them knowing that SPD doesn't issue but not being aware of the fact that SSD issues to qualified applicants all over the county, including those who live in one of the incorporated cities within the county.

Good luck!
We really should start a game show. Call it: Uneducated?, Stupid?, or just Douche Bags?. I'm not sure where these Sac PD guys would land...

But I'm sure they'd get a prize.

I know, I know, law enforcement has it tough, but jeez.
