Default Best FFL dealer to ship Online gun to? (Sacramento)

Im interested in a California legal AK-47 from Atlanticfirearms.com
I am looking for the cheapest place to ship my Ak to, or a customer friendly store that would do it.

I have checked Shooters Warehouse, they charge 80$. Just Guns charges 150$ and they said the AK I was interested in came with a disassembled 30rd mag. Which is perfectly legal to buy, but they dont want to do that. I also checked Guns N Stuff, but the man working there said he didnt want to because "he doesnt like AKs" weird right?

When i ordered my AR from Atlantic Firearms I went through shooters warehouse in rancho/rosemont. Definitely recommended. Several other places in town refused to receive shipment, including Just Guns.

Which AK are you looking at getting?

Well currently i'm looking to get the M10 7.62 when its back in stock.

And might be a stupid question but what is the purchase process like between Atlantic Firearms- Shooters Warehouse?

Does that $80 include DROS too? If so, that's not too bad. You could check with the GunRange. The website (under range info) states out of state tranfer $50 DROS $25.

You could also try Discount Shooters Supply in Roseville. I recently transfered a pistol from a shop in NV. through them for $75, which included DROS.

Yeah Discount Shooters seems like a good idea, I asked them about it recently. Hopefully they dont give me crap about it including a disassembled 30 round magazine parts kit.

I've gone through Arlington Firearms/JK Mustang twice buying California compliant rifles from Atlantic firearms. The transfer fee was $50, and I also had to pay sales tax on the rifle when I bought one in May. I got a DSarms FAL and a PTR91 both came with a mag disassembled.

When you buy the rifle from Atlantic, you also add the bullet button to the cart. If the dealer is on the list you select the dealer at time of order. If dealer is not on list then pick skip dealer for now, have dealer fax or email FFL information to Atlantic and reference your invoice/sales number. Both my orders arrived in about 12 days. You can start Paperwork with dealer here to begin 10 day wait as soon as order is made if the item is in stock then it should get here by the time the waiting period ends.

Thanks alot, I was really confused because someone mentioned I have to get them to fax their FFL information back and forth, but since my dealer is on the list it should be a lot easier. Seems all I have to do when it comes back in stock is select my dealer on the checkout, and then give my FFL dealer my order number and name.

I've twice used Roberts Gunsmithing in Folsom. $35 transfer fee + 25 DROS + sales tax if applicable. Nice guy. He's a 1 man shop with a regular day job so it's not as convenient as walking into a LGS whenever I feel like it, but since i work in Folsom it's pretty easy to set up meeting times. He's already set up with Atlantic & a few other online shops.

Roberts is definitely a great choice. Used him as well. Just don't use sac black rifle unless you want to get bent over.

I hear The Gun Range is quite good. I believe it is $50 transfer fee + tax if OOS purchase.
