Default Looking for a Range

Hi,
I'm new to the shooting sport, and I just bought a Ruger 10/22 and ammo. I'm looking for a nearby range to shoot at that has reasonable prices. I live in the Walnut/West Covina area. I looked online and the nearby ranges listed online are extremely expensive.

Outdoor? Indoor? Maximum Range you wish to shoot?

Define "extremely expensive."

I would prefer outdoor, though it's not as important as the price. Range should be under 100yds because I'm a newbie and it's a .22lr.

"Extremely expensive" to me would be $20/hr.

Yeah. Outdoors, that's going to be a tough one.

Closest outdoor range from West Covina is Burro Canyon. $15 to shoot all day.

Our monthly shoot n que at Burro is this coming Sunday if you wanna come up and meet, shoot and eat with fellow Calgunners.

Try prado in Chino area. They actually only allow 22LR for rifles so you don't have to hear the big bangs next to you all day. It's only 25 yds. i think

$10 for the public ranges. $15 for the private ranges, like the monthly Shoot'n'Que.
