Yes, dark earth. Its a shade darker than Magpul FDE, but I think it at least works well together. I like it darker though, I wish Magpuls was closer to Alumaydes Dark Earth.

I also painted my M1A with Alumahyde II Coyote, which is a shade lighter than FDE. Pictured here with my FDE AICS which is a different color entirely:

I haven't cleaned it yet but it supposedly holds up very well. I won't mind if it doesn't though, I like that stickman "weathered" look also.

Multicam - painted using Duracoat. Great video on Youtube to help figure out the pattern.

I used Woodland brown high heat for the barrel and gas tube. The rest is regular baked Duracoat.

Here's my first attempt at a non black AR. Rattle can Sand and Brown Camo Rustoleum. I used a laundry bag from Walmart for pattern with 2-3 layers of each color to get to 2D and 3D look.

We can tell ;-)

I'd recommend medium or high rise rings for that scope so the FSP isn't blocking your view. How was it grouping with that setup anyways?

He's probably not from Komifornia. Standard mags are no big deal in almost every other state.
