I shoot my guns. No safe queens for me. Thanks

Lol, its not a matter of 'safe queens'. Ive been looking at these things and saying ammo, or even brass or dies, are hard to come by is an understatement.

Thinking about casting for it.

I shoot my Nagant, but not very often. It reminds me of a .38 in terms of recoil.

I don't own any guns I cant shoot. At least once or twice a year.

7.62x38R is one of the few handgun loads that I have seen in any quantity. Cabelas always has a big pile of boxes when I am in there (as much or more than all the other handgun ammo combined).

SGAmmo has it in stock: http://www.sgammo.com/catalog/pistol-ammunition/762x38r

As does Midway (2 different brands) http://www.midwayusa.com/find?sortby...ensionid=10089

And Grafs (2 commercial and one surplus) http://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/.../categoryId/6?

And JG Sales: (Privi and Surplus) http://www.jgsales.com/ammo-for-handguns-c-25_740.html

As to the guns themselves, Dans Ammo has them, not sure how CA friendly they are.

Yeah, good times. Picked up 3 of them from those guys - a 1914, 1918 (no date, so it has to be that one year, when they didn't mark them), and a 1925, if I recall correctly. Went through their entire stock of M1895s. Good times

Fiocchi and Prvi Partizan make new ammo, and some Russian surplus surfaces every now and then. It's usually not that hard to find ammo for them. It's not that cheap though, at about 50c per.

I would. I like old guns for the HIstory that's behind them. I don't mind having guns that I don't shoot all the time. I prefer to shoot modern guns, anyway. Especially if I built them.

Naw, I meant ammo for a Nambu, not a Nagant. Slight thread drift, sorry.
