Default Contemplating An AK-74 Build

Gentlemen,
I am thinking about taking the plunge and building my first AK. Looking into an AK-74 type build using a Polish Tantal 80% receiver.

My question is, is the Tantal receiver compatible with the Bulgarian Ak-74 Parts kits?

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

yes, the only difference is the recess for the safety selector is in a little different location, but it will work fine.

I have 2 heat treated 80% Polish receivers listed for sale on the "Parts and Accessories" Marketplace forum for $75 each + shipping if anyone is interested.

These are the ones completely hardened ones from Cameron "Dark Knight" Childers at Childers Guns - way better than using the non-hardened ones and trying to heat treat around the holes with a torch. Selling them for what I am into them - I decided to stick with the AKM build projects I already have instead of going deeper into debt picking up and hoarding AK-74 kits too.

You'll be better off building it off an AK-builder flat.
