It's on the north side of the street and they have two buildings: the one on the right is the bakery and the one on the left is the butcher.

BTW I wouldn't mind some more ahi tuna. Calguns surf and turf?

LOL.... I'll have to wait till it get's closer to see if I can make it or not. Unemployed right now so the finances are a bit tight. And I just got a request for Ahi at a 4th of July BBQ that I'm going to. I'll see how much I have left.

Oh here's the place I go to for Carne Asada.

Tito's Market
9814 Garvey Ave
El Monte, CA 91735
(626) 579-1893

It's on the south side of Garvey.

this time maybe I'll bring some refried beans and a few corn tortillas for that carne asada (if you'll save me some).

Are we doing a milsurp volley again? I just picked up a Persian M98/29 Mauser (or as they called it "Model 1309" or simply "Brno") so I can set aside a clip or two of ammo for the volley

Also, I think a couple of guys wanted to shoot my cap and ball revolver last time but did not get a chance. While I am no expert I can teach the basics to whomever wants to learn how to load and shoot the old "smokewagons"

As long as the ammo is non magnetic I'm sure we can do it again.

That's one of the advantages of handloading I have dies, brass, and bullets on the way and I already have appropriate powder and primers.

Howie, hope to see you there!

I've got OT... the weekend before, so it looks good for me to be there.

Swaydude has threatened to make Bacon Explosions again, and I've countered with possibly bringing 50/50 burger patties.

You can have as many rounds as your shoulder can take

BTW this article I found says the rifle is known as a Brno over there:

http://www.aliparsa.com/brno/brno.html

I just shot the rifle today, testing my handloads (shoots over a foot high at 100 yards so I ended up doing load development at 50 yards). I got 5 rounds into under 3/4" at 50 yards with the best load and I think I will call it good because I hate load development.

Can't wait for the 27th!

The explosion you brought previously was marvelous (reportedly since I can't eat it). Dogs would also be great, and I might be able to eat one of those. See you there.
