Default Nikon Prostaff 3-9X-40 scope, how high mount to clear folding rear sight?

I have a Troy folding rear sight...thinking of getting a Nikon Prostaff 3-9X40 scope and some Warne QD rings. The Warne QD rings come short, medium, high, and extra high. I know the short and medium won't allow clearance, but do I get the high or extra high mount for the scope to clear the rear sight? I would rather have the scope lower and close to the bore, but also need it to clear...

This is on a flat top AR....

Anybody have a similar setup with the Warne rings and folding sights?

AR platforms need an optical center between 1.4-1.5'' (dependent on manufacturer). This is the standard height of Irons on an AR. for the Warne ring set, you will want/need to go with the Extra high rings. They also make a dedicated/marketed set for the AR:

I use a PEPR on one rig and it clears the MBUS But just barely. I got some single rings for another scope from a differant maker and even at 1" it didn't clear em. Fits on the rifle but I can't use tradition iron sights.

+1 also for teh PEPR for a 1 piece setup. Warne has the RAMP mount for a 1 piece that looks pretty nice. have only handled though, havent shot with it.
