Default Flying in/out of Long Beach Delcaring Arms

Anyone have experience picking up or checking bags with firearms when traveling through Long Beach Airport?

Traveling commercially? All airports fall under the jurisdiction of Homeland Security.

If it's a private aircraft, treat it as you would a car.

Yep - I know this - been flying with firearms for over 15 years - just not into Long Beach before.

any Long Beach experience would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I've flown out of LGB with firearms (JetBlue). This was before the new construction; but if I recall, it was no harder than anywhere else.

Ticket folks were nice, no hassles - just filled out the declaration, and I was good to go. I believe I didn't even have to bring my case to a separate x-ray area; it just went on the belt.

I didn't return to there, so I can't speak to the baggage claim procedures.
