Nice clean work but had to wonder what didn't you like about the original design? The G-36 is one great firearm and may be more accurate then my 1911's.

I did the same operation with my Glock 21 and 30. For some reason I just don't like the squared off look of a original Glock trigger guard. Don't like those damn finger groove humps either.

Glock - Everything it needs, Nothing it doesn't.

I don't use the finger rest and there is no accessory rail, so it didn't need it.

It also snagged on loose clothing and made it near imposable to get into a soft-rim IWB holster.

Looks pretty good! Only thing that kinda bothers me is there seems be a pretty large gap between the slide and the trigger assembly.

Not about "Looks"... it's a Glock.

It's about getting rid of something that it not only doesn't need, but is an impediment as well.
