I would like to encourage our members from Nor. and Cen. Cal. chapters to follow up with them and join the group.

- Interesting concepts and ideas of interactions, activities, reloading classes, group buys, loaner equipment, structural organization, goals, etc., were discussed today with a great response from the members who attended the meeting.

Once again, it was a real pleasure to spend some time quality time with members of our law abiding citizen family.

Best regards.

Lonewolf.
I'd like to thank Xavier and Peter for organizing this initial meeting. I think we laid out a foundation to build this club on. There were many good ideas brought to the table and we have many goals we wish to accomplish.

Chknlyps2 and I will be initially coordinating the IE chapter. My goals for the IE and the club in general is inspire member participation.

I can't stress member participation enough. This project will either thrive or die in our hands and we can't get more than we are willing to give.

Further, I'd like to thank everyone who was able to attend and look forward to chapter based meetings. I'd like to welcome other chapters to our meets and encourage suggestions.

Absolutely. Especially if you're an experienced reloader/handloader.

One of my primary goals for this club will be learning... sharing knowledge and experience between both novice and expert alike.

I'm waiting to hear from Capy to see how we're going to proceed with this project.

It was a great meeting, good to meet a lot of people I knew from the Internet and even better reconnecting with the guys I've met before. Very excited that the ball is rolling on this project cuz it's been a long time coming.

Ok, Update!

I spoke with Capy, he has his plate full right now, so I will be stepping up and taking the reins to get a Reloading Club going for the Ventura County Chapter of CGSSA/CalGuns.

Stay tuned for further updates & information.

First off I would like to thank Mimi's Cafe in Tustin for accommodating us.

It was more than great meeting new faces also seeing ones I have already met and come to know. Much was talked about. There still is much to be worked out. However we now have a core of Calgunners willing to take the next steps.

I also can't thank MrLonewolf enough he is a dedicated guy (just no other way to put it)

Along with long time loaders we had a couple that has yet to cut their teeth on reloading their own ammo. The question was posed to them, "What do you want to see out of a reloading club?" Several of us soaked it up. After all this club will be as much for beginning loaders and want to be loaders as well a s experts. Especially those whom like to teach.

Some of the subjects touched on were.

What it will take to become a member?
What kind of information about members would we ask for? For example do we want a directory for leaders only or for general members.

Group buys, acquiring equipment for Loan/ rental like trimmers and etc.

Hands on reloading classes for beginners.

There are plans under way to hold the first club loading training session. We have a location and once the host is back from vacation we will get this going.

There are many questions and things yet to be answered.

Will there be a separate sub forum under the ammo and reloading section available to members only. There is a good chance of this.

Will this be a multi level club where certain members have access to more things?
Well if you think about it should the club trust a Garrard trimmer to a JrCalguns member with 15 posts? So some of this makes sense.

Will there be dues? If so how much$$. Yes I know reloaders are amongst the cheapest people on the planet. Many of got in to reloading because we are just too plain cheap to pay for factory ammo.

What will the actual name of the club. Keep in mind it will be officially under the wings of CGSSA. So the name should sound good behind CGSSA.

So there you have some of it.

This will be your club and there will be votes/Polls on things that effect us on several issues. first someone shows this part analog just how to set uo one of them dang polls OHOD is so fond of.

The foirst being Just what we call the club?

So that is it for now.

Thanks all for your interest and especially those who showed up Sunday morning.

Also I would especially like to thank CSACANNONEER Chykenlyps2 and TheTinman for the distanse they traveled to be there.

Dark Mod is the other co leader for Orange County. Big bronco is the acting "president".

I'll be helping with the Orange County crew.

Since this is getting started in out backyard so to say it will take a few in other areas to step up to the plate.

Any one in Central, North Or San Diego areas willing to jump in, please let MrLonewolf or myself know. We already have over 100 sate wide that have shown interest. Things will most assuredly begin to move slowly but things are moving.

So, tony2029 you busy?

As far as distance to the meeting, I drove from Palmdale to be there....

(I live in Orange, and was staying at a friends place ).

A big thanks to all who came up with this idea. I'm new to reloading, but not completely noob. But in this time and market, it's a bugger to get components.

I'm IN!

Thanks to BigBronco and others for making this happen.
Let's see where it goes!

Bummed I couldnt make it on sunday but I had a 6 page essay that I had to work on. Any way, I am very interested in this club and would be willing to do anything to help fellow reloaders. I am only 19 but feel I have a really good grasp on reloading.

If you guys need a leader or something for the Lakewood/Long Beach area, I would be willing to help.

I actually might be setting up a group buy for Missouri Bullet Company in the next few weeks so keep an eye out for that. Looking to get an order around 30,000 to 40,000 bullets.

Great. There are people here that have only been loading 3 months. Others that have not loaded a round yet. A club and its chapters will need people to help organize, take minutes, act as treasurer for your area and etc. Not everyone need be a reloading expert. Just a willingness to help out and give back to the cal-guns community.
