Come on, we have to unite and stand up together !

There are deluded folks who forgot what 2nd Amendment means. They forgot what our country means, and forgot what history and Bible tells us.

Default email to representatives

I looked up my district and sent the following to all three of my state representatives (two senators and one assemblyman).

Dear (Assemblyman/Senator) ______,

I vehemently oppose the draconian anti-gun legislation presently being proposed in Sacramento (AB 48, 500, 169, 760 and SB 47, 53, 108, 293, 299, 374, 396, 567).

I implore you to please stand up for the Second Amendment and do all you can to protect our constitutional rights.

Thank you,

(your name here)

Please feel free to cut and paste and forward to your district legislators.

Hope this helps.

Exactly what Newbs like me who don't know what to do needed. Thank you!

EDIT:
I changed the email once I got there, had to tell it like I see it. A bit personal, but I think I made some good points that are relevant for many and I spoke of the many benefits of the shooting sports, things I never see discussed on Pierse Morgan or MSNBC (and I like MSNBC). If anyone wants to read it, I'll pm it to you.

I'm just now seeing this and so confused... Is this a list of people that will man up and take up arms for a fight involving contact with an opposing force trying to literally come and take guns at gunpoint? Like IRL? (in real life)

Couldnt this list be considered the creation of a Militia or whatever politicans want to call it... a terrorist organization etc....?

I guess i need to do more reading on the bills listed... I go off forum to a motorcycle forum looking for a new bike, come back and this is here?

If I toss my name in the bucket... can I carpool with someone?

They don't want us to have guns because they realize that the reason for the second ammendment was to enable the people to keep the government from becoming " OUT OF CONTROL " ...which is what they have been and plan to continue to do ,...but .....I'd like to see them try to find and sieze 240 million guns in this country ,..not to mention all the people that simply won't want to just hand them over.

whenever STATISTS (lawmakers) draft and vote on legislation that bans the possession of legal firearms and accessories then we have a serious problem that this country is approaching a tipping point.

these bills we not drafted after Sandy Hook. they were ready way before the blood of those children was even dry. their plan is confiscation and nothing will convince me otherwise after the videos and audio we have hearf of them that their laws are meant to confiscate our firearms.

do not think that AR's and AK's are it they want them all those SASS shooters are living in a fools world to think that they will be spared they will be next. and hunters are not safe either.

No, no and no.

No, this list is not. Even if it is, the act of forming a militia is not illegal. The practice of military tactics and/or the expressed opinion that you may be willing to take up arms against the government in certain situations is not a terrorist act -- at least not until you actually fired your first shot in your rebellion or are in possession of illegal weapons. In the USA, you have every right to say that you don't belief in the government, you want the current government replaced or you oppose government policy. It is not a crime to call the government your "enemy" or your leaders any name you want. It may not be gracious or polite, but it is not illegal. It is also not illegal to own guns or practice their use for ANY contingency as long as you are not a convicted felon or otherwise prohibited from ownership. You can say that you hate the government and you will join a rebellion and fight the federal government if called upon to do so. They cannot arrest you for that. You can publicly denounce the government, you can call for secession from the union. You can do all that and it is not against the law.

Now, if you actually do it though... of course it is illegal. But, as with any armed insurrection, once you have raised the rebel flag and fired upon the government you are also completely rejecting the government or it's lawful authority over you. Basically, you either win, end up in cell or end up dead. Legality, by the law books your enemy is quite irrelevant at that point.
