Default Rifle classes

any recommendations on a rifle marksman class in northern LA county or ventura county?

I have a 6.5 CM AR and my friend has a 300WM savage, we are looking for a marksman or sniper class to further our skills. I would prefer bench shooting.

Classes will have you off the bench and shooting prone right after zeroing your rifle (if you are ever on a bench).

If you want good solid basics, get a .22lr and head for an Appleseed class. Several ranges offer them.

For centerfire precision rifle, take a look at ITTS or Premier Rifle Academy. Premier has both 'hunting' and 'precision' oriented classes.

Ours is one of a few taught by a Marine Corps 0317 Scout/Sniper. Scott Olson has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and has served as a Scout/Sniper team leader.

Once you take our classes you will have access to him/us for questions, comments and technical support for the foreseeable future.

If one looks at the top of the match results of any of the biggest long-range rifle matches in CA, the U.S., and beyond, you will have a pretty good list of the instructors. Many of them used to do a training camp for the Navy Seals in marksmanship skills and wind reading in Coalinga. The shortest one is likely one of the all-time top women shooters in the U.S. It should be fun...
