Default M-48's?

After learning that my great grandparents died in a Yugoslavian concentration camp at the hands of Tito (they were German nationals), I thought it fit to buy the "never again" rifle that was issued to the people of the affected areas after WW2.

Picked up from a fellow calgunner, along with the Turkish surplus. This rifle has some of the most interesting wood flows I've seen. It was never issued, and is still in need of breaking in!

If you guys have any M48 pictures, or suggestions on upgrades (peep sight, trigger, etc...) please let me know what you think. I want to keep this as factory LOOKING as possible, but the trigger could use some help, as could the sights.

Cheers

Just got a S&K scout mount, Bushnell TRS-25 and Voodoo Tactical ammo pouch/cheek riser. Such a sick setup now.

Shiny! Nice wood. Can you shoot normal 8x57 surplus through m48s?

Those Turkish rounds totally kick butt. You're going to have a whole lot of fun with that!
