Well, I've had some very good experiences with them recently. In Jan at the Ontario show I placed a small order for 500rnds of .45ACP and was told 3-4 weeks. 5 weeks later and my order still hadn't be received so sent them an email outlining the situation and later that day got a response from Mike, the CEO. He was very apologetic and committed to shipping my order out the next day. I asked if I could just pick up what they owed me and the next show (Ventura) and if so, could I add to it. He said that would be fine and I added another 500 .45 ACP and 1k of 9mm. Went to the show and they had it waiting here with my name on it. Plus, he gave me the price that I would have paid at the Ontario show.

I happened to be in Arizona a couple of weeks ago and went to the Crossroads show while I was out there. Surefire was there and I got to meet Mike and I also placed another order for 1k 9mm and 500 40S&W. Was told 3-4 weeks. We'll see if that happens or not. But, even if the shipping time gets a little long, I'm confident that I'll get it one way or another.

well i guess thats at least a step in the right direction. maybe i'll go to the next show in ontario.

Ordered 2000 rounds of .45. Took them 3 months to get me my money back after a month of BS about my order shipping. Told me three times that my order was going to ship the next day and once that it was going to ship that day, order was never shipped. Their customer service department consists of two people if you can get them to answer the phone and they never return messages. I would never do business with this company ever again.

PLEASE READ THIS - I ordered 500 rounds of .223 on Jan 26, 2013 at the Orange County Show - TO DATE NO AMMO!, when you inquire by email, I get emails promising me stuff the next week, but go figure, it's been 4 plus months. This is my experience - MAYBE MIKE CAN MAKE GOOD, we will have to see.....

Has this been resolved?

I am just curious because I made a comment/joke in sarcasm about showing up to the Assaulted event tonight in a lakers outfit so that I can bring in a camcorder and shotgun mic and tripod and then make dvds for folks afterwards and sell them for $10, anyways, I just KNOW that I am going to need to explain that I posted in sarcasm font so I just wanted to refer people to this thread option 2 of my post about having to explain myself.

Watch now, some over zealous mod will get all screwey and perma ban me for this... Then I will be like well, like the others... I might as well make up a second account now. I will call it, "not stilly because he was banned" .

i finally got mine on the end of april. i'd still use surefire in the future...after the panic settles down a bit and they have it there so i don't have to wait...

give them another call... and e-mail, let them know you are still waiting. Let them know all info too, name, phone, address, order number and what you ordered.

Hi
I bought 1000 rounds of 9mm from Surefire at the recent Ventura Show.
They arrived in less than 2 weeks and look good.

I got them on the recommendation of a friend who had fired his 1000 rounds with no problems.
However, I should tell you that about a year ago, his order of ammo from Surefire took nearly 4 months to arrive!! - and he got the same phone run-around.

I may have lucked out, also, the sales guy at the show was great and knowledgeable.

We ended up stopping payment on the credit card and getting our money back. Would never trust them to ship at a later date again.

Not sure if I've ever bought any ammo from the Surefire guys but they sound shady to me.

I've bought most of my ammo (mainly from Miwall and Redline) at gun shows BUT, if it's not there in front of me, there's no way I'd give any dealer money to ship me some later. Just never know if I'll see the ammo or them ever again.

Freedom Munitions is a good alternative if you're looking for remanufactured ammunition.
