Default San Jose 3/30-31 "Previous 'seeders only"

There are 7 spaces left at a "previous Appleseeder only" shoot at the San Jose's Metcalf (Field Sports Park) on March 30 & 31. This one is labeled 'long distance' and we will in fact shoot AQTs out to 200 yards, but there is also an option to spend the weekend 'grinding' at 25 meters if that's what you prefer.

Saturday AM will be a review similar to Sunday AM at a regular 'seed. We do a ballistics lesson around noon, and those who want to shoot out to distance will get their zeros while others work at 25m for the afternoon. Sunday we shoot AQTs all day. Long distance AQT is partially full distance, partially scaled with targets at 100, 200, 75 and 100 yards for stages 1-4 respectively. Having a 25m or 200 yard zero on your rifle in advance will help.

Start time is EARLY at 8AM due to the range's schedule.

Range information is here: http://www.appleseedinfo.org/search-...locationid=302

Does anyone want to scout the range before the event? The 200 y range is open for public just once a month, and it'll be March, 24. I'll try to be there around 1pm.

You can read an after action report from the shoot last September here:

and it has photos that should give an idea of the range setup.
