Default CCW in Madera county.... How long?
Today is week 8 for me. I was told 6 to 8 weeks. Did anyone recently get their CCW? How long did it take you?

I heard they are averaging 8-12 weeks

I havent got it yet. I was told to wait two more weeks then call again. They are short staffed.

I had a CCW in Madera Co. for 25 years. Moved to Orange Co. and the !@#@# thinks only cops and the military and a few of her friends need to protect their loved ones.

Got the call Tuesday that i was approved. I should have it by Thursday.

So how long did it take from when the sheriff office approved you? Total time after the printing and written test?

From my written test to when I received my permit was about 9 weeks. Happy I got it.
