Default Any experience with Snugpak tents?

Does anyone have any experience with Snugpak products? I'm looking at getting this tent from these guys.

Any similar American made products? I think that Eureka makes some good American made tents, but I'm looking for some other recommendations.

No experience with either. But, I was at Costco this weekend and they had a display on Turbo Tent.
Talked to the rep for a bit, seems like good quality stuff. I didn't buy anything, but than again, I wasn't exactly in the market for a tent.

x2 on Tarptent, I have a Double Rainbow. Great quality and they're made by a guy here in California. He's also great to deal with which seams exceedingly rare these days.

$399 is just the MSRP. I have found the tent for $305-$340 online. I believe this is a 4 season tent (maybe 3, can't find any info on this). That's about what you would expect to pay for a nice one.

Sometimes a feather weight tent would be the way to go and sometimes a heavy tent would be the proper choice . What will you need the tent to do.

I'm in the market to buy a tent as well. As for now I've been hammock camping, but it would be nice to stretch out. I like what I see with http://www.mountainhardwear.com/Hoop...efault,pd.html , but I haven't seen it in action yet.

Now, just to find a decent sleeping bag...

Well, I ended up going with the Diamond Brand USMC Combat Tent. This thing is pretty heavy duty and should last many many years. It came in the mail the day after I got back from my last camping trip (was supposed to arrive the day berore I left) so I havent had a chance yo use it yet.

The Seedhouse SL2 looks like a nice tent. It's too bad they are made in China like so many other things.
