Not sure if I got this attachment right from my phone. If so, this is my first build I finished yesterday.

Specs:
LRB Lower with M&A LPK
Rock River upper with BCM Bolt 16" Stainless
Guntech front rail
Magpul MOE forward grip, rear sight and stock
Ergo pistol grip

Couldn't find an OD rear sight so just went with the FDE for now, I'm pretty happy with her.

Her little sister is a 226 .40 Cal.

The rifle shot amazingly well, was plinking a 3x3 plate at 200 yards with no glass. I'm proud.

Imoprtant note for those using photobucket to host pictures!

Make sure you make your albums private in your photobucket accounts. I'm noticing lately that people aren't doing this and when I get the email that this thread has been replied to it gives a link to the picture in your photobucket account which allows anyone to look at every picture you have in your photobucket account.

I don't know about you but I don't want people having access to every picture in my photobucket account.

I would really love to do a Cerakote project one of these days…

Did you have to use blast media to take the anodizing off of the aluminum or do you just paint and bake right over it?

Just foolin' around with some receiver parts I didn't care too much for. I wanted to try for an SBR "look", since I can't have a real one.
I cut and crowned the barrel with my friends tools and had a local machinist thread it. I blind pinned it and gave all the metal parts a cerakote suit.
She actually handles o.k. despite the big pig on front and the heavy barrel(still shoots good too)
That wasn't the point of this build anyways. I have nice handling AR's. I just wanted to make something enjoyable and amusing out of parts that I didn't care for at all before.
It was a lot of fun building, and IMO, was well worth it.

That is an awesome rifle. Reverse color ARs look the best in IMO. I like how the color really brings out the lines especially on your ST rail.
