U said that is was hard to get hold of Ares. I was merely offering another avenue to reach an individual. To me speaking with a person is better then calling a phone # that rarely gets answered or leaving a voice mail on an answering machine that we all know they are not listening too. For me no answers from an individual or phone that is not answered is very frustrating & I will tenaciously search for others ways to contact or get the answers I need. Good luck with your quest.

Thanks, G.

OK, now I'm hurt... just forget about one of the first guys to send you money for the GB. J/K, got the PM from another member and I'd say go route A, but lean on 'em a bit.

Just reading through the comments on the ares fb page and came across this pertaining to gb1 if anyone is interested

XXXXX: can i get an update on the rudius? I'm part of the cgn gb back in may 2012 and have no idea whats going on
Like February 26 at 12:07am
YYYYYY likes this.

Ares Armor The GB are still going out. The coordinator of the group buy told us not to ship the frames out if they have a jig on order. They were handling everything until about a week ago. They left us the frames and a list, that's about it. The frames are still going out and the new grip is in production right now and the new jigs will be done in a month. The coordinator of the GB is making it seem like we are done with the GB and that is not the case at all.
February 26 at 3:56pm Like

XXXXX Is there a way i can get my order shipped with the rudius first and the jig later? I will personally drive down to you guys and bring back a delivery for the norcal guys if its needed. Everyone wanted the rudius first and jigs and new grips later but gb leaders kept ignoring the thread for weeks at a time
February 26 at 4:01pm via mobile Like

Ares Armor I can get it off to you today. Do you want the old grip or do you want the new one sent with the jig when they come in?
February 26 at 4:12pm Like

XXXXX Ill take the old grips for now and buy the new ones later if you guys charge extra when the jig is ready
February 26 at 4:14pm via mobile Like

XXXXX Did you guys get shipping info from the gb leaders?
February 26 at 4:16pm via mobile Like

YYYYYY Same boat
February 26 at 4:44pm via mobile Like

Ares Armor We are giving the new grip out to replace the old one if people want them free of charge. Yes we have the list. They are getting shipped out. Keep in mind we have a lot of items getting shipped out daily. YYYYYY you are not on the group buy list. You made an order online. Your order shipped and it said it was delivered. ------------------------------. that is your tracking number.
February 26 at 4:49pm Like

YYYYYY Also in GB. I'll make sure lloyd let's you know.
February 26 at 4:52pm via mobile Like

Ares Armor YYYYYY you are not on the list they provided.Sorry that is not our fault
February 26 at 4:58pm Like

XXXXX Id like the new grips but would like complete rudius to finish my builds asap so ill take the old ones now if itll get my order shipped and worry about the new grips later. Thanks ares
February 26 at 5:01pm via mobile Like

Ares Armor XXXXX I'll get it out to you today.
February 26 at 5:04pm Like 2

XXXXX Thanks ares. Can you get me a tracking number once it ships?
February 26 at 5:07pm via mobile Like

Ares Armor The coordinator of the GB posted on calguns.net that he provided us with a list. He is now saying that the list he personally gave us is wrong. If this is true everyone from the GB needs to contact him. He has been updated regularly about the frames, jigs, and grip. He is just not letting the GB people know this.
February 26 at 5:19pm Like

XXXXX I've been waiting 10 months for my order from the. I posted earlier this morning here to ares and they're getting my order out today after they asked what I wanted. I don't see an issue with ares at all. As soon as I get a tracking number I vouch for ares management over cgn.
February 26 at 5:23pm via mobile Like

Ares Armor The list we have also has the names of people from the GB with jigs on order as well.
February 26 at 6:27pm Like

Ares Armor XXXXX here is your tracking number. ----------------------------
February 26 at 6:50pm Like 1

XXXXX Thanks ares. Nothing shows up yet but ill check again later to see if usps has it yet. I appreciate shipping my order out today. You guys are solid. Ill try to clear things up on the gb as soon as usps lets me track my package
February 26 at 9:47pm via mobile Like 2

XXXXX Thanks ares. My package is now trackable and in usps hands. Who took care of my shipment? I want it to be known who ever took care of my shipment is on point and the man. It was not part of ares initial agreement to ship out our gb order. Almost 10 months waiting in the hands of gb leaders I got nothing and no information except dates that never pulled through. In one morning you guys at ares took care of what someone else didn't for almost a year and did their job. Seriously I'd like to know who shipped my order so I can thank them for ending my headache
Wednesday at 3:59pm via mobile Like 1

Ares Armor Mike took care of your order. I am the one handling facebook. I appreciate the awesome feed back if you ever need anything let me know.

XXXXX Ill send out a pizza for mike sometime for taking care of things. Lunch on me

Ares Armor Thank you XXXXX but there is no need to do that. I'm just glad you we go you taken care of.

Actually - it went pretty much as expected for a group buy with a new company that has no inventory Still looks like people will get their frames - so it is probably a better buy than most.

I wouldn't mind paying the $5 to ship the grips at a later time if needed...Maybe that will help them make a decision, then they don't have to cover shipping at all. I'm sure we will all have a better idea come the work week. Thanks again brother.

What you guys paid for shipping can cover the shipping both times. Of i include the gas for the hour and a half trip i made about 180 bucks off this buy so i definitely dont mind taking another trip.

So just to be clear, does that mean all the people that switched from a jig to another frame will recieve the difference back?

Thx, G.

Nobody has asked for it. Everybody ELSE told me not to worry about it.

Willikers, you already concluded the group buy so this doesnt include you. If you would like 5 dollars back then pm me.

And I never had asked for it either, I was merely asking since u brought up the subject of money. I am good with u keeping the difference. Carry on.

Thx, G.

Well if they only give you a partial amount of frames i volunteer to be one of the last ones to receive them since I haven't bought any parts yet and I have no means to mill anything out, the jigs out there aren't to spec, and until a shop comes online with the ability to help me out, funny enough, these are really just paper weights for me for the time being.

I just left a message with our offer, otherwise I am going to call again. I was planning to stop by friday, but my buddy might need a ride from the dentist. Otherwise, I am planning to as soon as we get a yes just to lock our orders in person. Then we will plan as a whole a ftf date. I dont want our frames dissapearing again! (remember, I sent the money because ares had 100 frames ready? well, as soon as our money hit, we lost touch!)

interesting jig data from the GB1 thread:

They are not that bad to work on, matter of fact I spent maybe an hour in front of it and was able to get all the kinks worked out.
