Default Where can I shoot steel case ammo?

Hello,

I recently purchased quite a bit of 7.62x39 WPA and Wolf brand ammo, both of which have steel cases. I unfortunately live in the Los Angeles area where it appears this type of ammo is banned at pretty much every range. Are there any ranges in the area that will allow steel case ammo to be shot at their range? I am willing to drive up to 100 miles in any direction as a weekend trip.

Thanks!

-James

we shoot it in the dez. PM me if you wanna go out. We head out deep into Lucerne Valley. You'll probably need a high clearance vehicle, or ride in one of our trucks.

You can shoot steel CASED ammo at Angeles. Unfortunately, your ammo also has a bullet which either has a steel core or bimetal jacket. So, it is prohibited there.

Damn. A new 1891/30 with 880 rounds of surplus in spam cans and nowhere
to shoot! Do we in LA only have the desert and BLM as an option here?

Actually, this is of interest to me as well. I have an M44 that I've never fired that seems to be getting hungrier all the time.
