Sorry, I might not be the quickest guy that reply e-mail, but on your follow up e-mail on the 29th, I already ship out a replacement for you. You e-mail me this evening saying that you came back from a long trip and you still have not receive the item, at least give me until tomorrow to reply your e-mail. People that know me, especially from the gun show know that I don't rip off my customer. A lot of time, my customer accidentally break a switch or cut the wire, I always replace it free of charge, why would I rip you off on a switch?

I can vouch for Kenneth, he is a stand up guy and runs an honest business. I have placed two separate orders on (8/2011 & 10/2012) and received both in timely manners.

On the last order (10/2012), I received the premium light kit in less than a week from ordering . I hooked it up and it didn't work. I did some trouble shooting interchanging some parts with my existing white light kit. I came to conclude, it was a faulty manual/dip switch.

I PM'd lite tech about the dip switch issue and got a response shortly. He sent out a new dip switch and I got it within a couple days. Wired it up, now the premium multi light kit works well!! Shipping times were fast and communication was excellent. Keep in mind Lite Tech does travel to gun shows all over the state. You might not get a reply right away but maybe in a day or two from my experience. Will buy from again!!

I also can vouch for gti_20ae. Done business with him in the past, seen him consistently at my local gun show multiple times, pleasure to do biz with, does the "Calgunner's special;" in my book, he's gtg.

I got these lights yesterday from Kenneth, these things are awesome. The color changing ones are cool the ac plug is a little touchy at times and I had to McGuyver the switch with some water bottle caps but there legit and glad I bought them

On 11/21 I email them again, and I get a response on 11/21 saying that I should check the packaging again for the INLINE switch [emphasis mine]. I respond within 2 hours, saying that I've searched the packaging, and I'm missing the ROLLER switch for the door, not the inline switch.
Since then, they have gone completely dark. I've sent follow up emails on 11/27, 11/29, and 12/12. Not a single reply. And I can't find a phone number in any of their emails or their website.
I'm a very unhappy customer.
My advice: don't waste your money with Lite Auto Tech. They don't ship what you pay for.

Update 12/15: Since my original post, Lite Tech Auto has engaged with me and they have been eager to fix this. I received the roller switch from them on 12/14, so I am a satisfied customer now. And I have always been happy with the product. Based upon that, and the other posts backing their credibility, I would consider my original experience as an isolated incident, which was 100% resolved.

That's cool you came back here and let everyone know, I honestly think this is a nice lighting option for our safes. Yea stuff happens but Kenneth is a real stand up guy with a good product that's kind of hard to find now a days.

Got my large safe (White) light kit today and installed it. Very simple and straight forward. I was able to hide the cables behind the interior drywall without issue.

The hardest part was finding a good place to mount the roller switch, which I finally did after much trial and error aided in using a camera inside the safe so I can see what was happening when I closed the door.

Kenneth was a pleasure to deal with and got the shipment sent out quickly.

Here is the finished product:

Mounting point for the roller switch. One of the door bolts activates the switch when locked:

Placed my order few minutes ago. Do all new orders automatically get the multi color led lights? I ordered the large safe kit with an additional 20" strip, you guys think that will be enough for a stack on 24 gun safe?

I would like to place an order for the multicolored kit but the drop down only includes white. I'm deployed so it will be a few months before I'll have a chance to check that I received a white/multicolored kit. Can someone chime in and let me know if the Premium kit is out of stock?

I'm also hoping to be able to get the order placed before the roller switch is no longer included.

I have seen this product installed in a friends home, wonderful item and I am looking forward to using it myself.

I understand the owner is away on bushiness until tomorrow so I wouldn't expect an answer exceptionally fast.

Thank you

I was able to get in contact via email with Kenneth (owner) when I placed my order and he said the White light option is the only one available for online orders at the time. I ordered the large safe package w/ and additional 20" strip for my 24 gun safe (60Hx30Wx20) and those strips put out a good amount of light. I was really impressed.

How long do these kits take to ship? I ordered mine a week ago and haven't even received a shipping notification. Is this typical?

Got my order today. The envelope was ripped when I received it, but I think all the parts are there. I have it hooked up to the batteries right now but I may switch to the AC adapter because I sometimes leave my safe open for a long time when I'm at home. Btw super easy straight install (excluding rocker switch)

I can't get a good mounting point for the rocker switch due to the design of my safe. Has anyone found other ways (switches) to get the light to turn off and on? I saw the motion sensor that someone posted previously, but I was looking for something smaller as my safe is kind of small.

Default Lite Tech

How do you get lite tech to reply to email. I had a few questions before i order, and i AM going to order. If answering email takes long, how long does it take to get order. I think it is probably the best gun safe lite kit I have seen !!!!

I want red/purple. Won't settle for white.

Since I'm in Texas, I can't make it to a gunshow, any chance you can make other colors available to those of us in like situations?

Two month update:

Light system was installed in December. I am in my safe daily and the batteries and still able to provide the large safe light strips with plenty of juice to illuminate.

Best light system I have used.

Mounting the rocker switch took a bit of thought and testing but once you find a good location you will be satisfied.

Just received my order today. I plugged in the lights to test them out and WOW they are bright! I can't wait to put these in the safe!

If anyone wants to light up their safe, pick these! He was easy to work with and order!

I got my multi-color kit a few days ago via a PM order for the multi-colored LED kit, and the lighting kit provides a lot of light! The LEDs have a DIP switch, and by flipping a combination of switches you can adjust the color. All on equals white light, a 1 or 2 off sets off another color.

Because of the internal hinge design of my safe, I had to route one of the LED strips on the corner edge of the safe's door. If I had mounted the LED strip on the inner wall edge, the LED strip would have been smooshed. The LED strip had plenty of non-lit length that allows the the LED strip to be on the inner lip of the safe door and still operate while open.

Still working out the switch to enable the light to turn on and off with the opening and closing of the door, but all in all this is a great value!

Forgot to add, my safe has the built in plug, so I use the DC converter provided by Kenneth (extra $10). Works great.

Ordered another kit a couple of months ago (I posted pics of my other kit earlier in this thread). Took awhile for my Fort Knox to show up but I installed the lights right after the safe was bolted to the floor. This time, I got the AC plug (also came with an 8-AA box that I can easily swap to), and my door switch works perfectly when screwed into the middle shelf divider. Picture taken without the flash, as you can see the surrounding area from the safe is dark inside the room. What's nice is that when my room is pitch black, the LEDs are not hard on my eyes at all and very easy to see everything when I open up my safe in the middle of the night.

This pic is from 2 weeks ago, when I just threw some stuff in there to see how well the LED's illuminated everything. I've I replaced a few shelves with new ones from FK since then.
