Default CZ 455 convertible now home

Here it is, I already love this rifle. Now I'm heading off to the range to see if I can get a lane. If I can I'll report back later tonight.
Just checked on line, range closes at 5PM today. I guess I wont know how this shoots before tomorrow *sad face*

10X, thanks. 22.LR soon I plan to buy the interchangeable .17mm barrel for it. I took the scope off of my 10/22 6-18X40.
Shoot the moon baby, shoot the moon.

so how accurate is the 22lr at 100 yards ?? compared to the 17 ?? I can't seem to get very good accuracy at 100 yards with my marlin, maybe it's just me. I am more of a pistol guy anyway.

We'll find out tomorrow, I'm sure this rifle shoots a hell of a lot better then I do though.

Congrats on your awesome purchase. Now put in a YoDave trigger kit, and you're good to go! Then you've got a pull that can be measured in ounces

.22lr @ 100yds, its all about the ammo. Try some Lapua Center-X .22lr as a minimum for 100yds. I shot a lot of Wolf MT and SK Std+ and while its very good at 50yds, it opens up beyond MOA at 100yds. The Lapua Center-X does much better. You may even have to go up to some Tenex for tight groups @ 100yds. Its why I like my .17hmr for 100yds as the ammo costs the same as the Lapua Center-X and a lot less than the Tenex.

Very nice. I like the fact you can change calibers, a neat function. If this is your first CZ you are gonna love it. I love my UltraLux. You should be able to give us a run for our money @ 50 and 100yds.

Hoping you finally get one, if so it will be worth the wait. With a YoDave trigger fix and BRNO Target sights and quality ammo you'll have an MOA shooter out to at least 50yds.

That's exactly my plan. The word in the under ground is they are supposed to be in production this month. So hopefully April, that is one preorder that will just sit and one day I will get a real happy phone call.

I'm not sure. This one was marked convertible.

All of the 455 barrels mount the same.I think the "American" is the one marketed as the convertible. The conversion barrels are all the "American" profile with no sights.

I have one with all 3 barrels.Rifle came with .22LR and .17HMR. .22WMR is sold as a conversion kit.Like it in any caliber.Bought because I wanted a .17HMR.Rest is bonus.

All 455's are convertible. You just need to buy the right kit. CZ-USA sells these kits with sights or without sights. You don't need anything else, and to convert it it takes all of 10 minutes. You'll have to re-zero though.

Congrats to the OP - I love the CZ rimfires.

CZ has sport profile and Varmint Barrels in three cals. Boyds has some nice stocks ~$100 including a Tacticool. There are adjustable benchrest stocks from Turkey for around $250. You can even get a Lilja Barrel.

Only wish it was easy for CZ to use the 17wsm - looks like would require some bolt face changes. Heck CZ could sell new bolt with larger face, barrel and new mag as a set, if the mag well is big enough.
