Default At Turners nothing lately.

I used to buy about a gun a month at Turners Pasadena but haven't been back for 2 months as there is no stock. I was interested in a Sig P226 or P229 and when I called to ask about one, they said "not likely". I've been to Guns Direct in Burbank as well and they also are mostly out of stock.

What is surprising is that the Gun World Burbank seems to have a steady flow of incoming firearms. Earlier this month I went in and they had many Sigs, mostly in .40. I wanted a 9mm and kept going back weekly to see if they had one coming in. Finally they had a P229 Enhanced Elite in 9mm and I jumped on it. I went back after the 10 days and they we're mostly out of stock on the P series but they still had SP2022's and some other. Then the following week, I went again and they had received about 5 to 6 P series Sigs. Gun World is usually more expensive but I didn't care this time. This place is definitly getting more than their fare share. If you don't care to pay a little more and one it bad, check them out. Make sure you have plenty of time to waste thought because they are really busy.

I agree, Turner's Pasadena stock is pathetic
almost as bad as their customer service skills

I beg to differ, I've had nothing but great service every time I've gone there, purchased total of 6 guns there and have done 2 PPT and they have gotten me out quickly. Yes there stock is low, but is that any different from any other store, NO. Also take into consideration that pasadena is their smallest store so selection/stock is going to be less.

Brutal. I thought it was bad when they told me 2-8 weeks for a mossberg 590. (4 weeks have passed and still no shotgun or known date)

Is that the one from the Pasadena store?

I've got a Ruger 10/22 (regular model) in the 10-day lockup. First deal I've done at the Pasadena store and I'll add the assistance there was fantastic. I've had plenty of "fine" transactions at other Turners (never "poor/bad") but this last one at Pas. was above average. FWIW.

Man, today is my lucky day. I went to the store and spoke with Roy (store manager) about the status of my order. At first, he told me the XD9 essential package is discontinued. He doesn't know why they let me order it ?????. Then he called all other shops around and finally got one for me. DROS it today, will pick up on the 21.

Much appreciate what he had done for me. First time with them but sure will be back. This is Turner in San Bernardino.

If that was my local Turners, I would have waited an hour in line just to ask my question. Then the salesperson would have told me that they didn't have it and walked away so I can't ask anything else.

Wow! I ordered mine XD9 service on 1/11 and I thought that was bad. They were on sale for $499 and by the time Igot there after work, they were all sold. They had around 60 available. I emailed SA and see if they are backordered and haven't heard anything. .
