Default Gun seized after transaction complete

Long story but I purchased a firearm from another ffl. I then sold the gun to an leo with a waiting period waiver. The gun has been seized by a local agency (another long story).

I'm waiting to hear from DOJ on the next move. Do I cancel the dros? Or? The agency that took the gun did not provide a case number.

The local 2nd Amendment Foundation attorney is $100 for a 15 min phone consultation.

Thanks again.

If you did everything correctly when you handed the LEO the firearm, all of it is out of your hands. I wouldn't cancel the DROS unless told otherwise by the DOJ...but they could just cancel it themselves. Wait and see.

You finished the transaction. Finish the paperwork and don't worry about it. If they show up asking questions, you can either wait for counsel or answer. Start figuring that out.
