Default USI-Concord. Reconsidering Ban on Steel Ammo

Film at 11...not.

Steel core ammo may be allowed at all USI Ranges. Exceptions would enacted be during dry hot conditions. The Discussion is on.

Not policy yet but I believe it's decided that stuff that is bi-metal JACKETED will be okay. It is the steel core (ie;SS109/M855 62gr) stuff that won't.

And it's Diablo Member's Open day this Sunday morning, Bench Match to follow at 1pm.

Bi-metal jacketed "might" be ok? Sweet! That means all Wolf brand ammo are good to go right? Since they all dont have steel cores.

At USI, the CMP ammo (HXP) which is bi-metal is OK, and the WOLF or any other sold at the range is OK. Steel core should not be a problem when used on paper targets and wood frames (but don't shoot those, it's expensive).

NO STEEL CORE on RAMS, STEEL PLATE, OR PISTOL RANGE where the target frames are METAL.

How long ago was this? Never heard of those kind of issues @ USI in the last 15yrs. I've been a Member.
