My Bravo Company lightweight midlength in 5.56/.223 with magpul furniture. Been thinking of swapping my black furniture for some FDE soon.

Like everything but the foregrip. A bit too much there.

^^ Yeah it's only on there because I couldn't decide which one I liked more. I'm leaning towards the FAB Defense pistol grip because it feels more natural to me and it's rubberized.

I think he was referring to the vertical fore grip. Also, why have an AFG and VFG?

Nice picture and nice rifle though.

Thanks. The AFG is already off. When I took this photo I was torn between which one I liked more. I'm also a newbie so I do questionable things :-). The VFG also has a short bottom cap that makes it smaller. I'll post another picture once I get my Magpul ladder rail covers, new iron sights and new grip.

Took some high def pics of one of my rifles with a friend's double-throw-me-down camera

These are 25% of their original size. This weekend we are going to take some more in more matching environments, this was my side yard.

Wow. Really nice rifles. I cant say I like that level of mix-matching colors but awesome rifles nonetheless. How do you like those rails?

They are great. Thin and light. And I may still not be sold on the color swapped parts either. Will most likely end up going all fde on both.

FDE FTW!!!

I'm not a fan of interchanging different colored parts on rifles either. To me, it looks tacky. You have a pair of beautiful rifles there, don't ruin them!

Technically, everything you see is "FDE".

"don't ruin them" lol thought ar's were first and foremost about function. Don't think a little mix n match color ruined em. But yeah I see your point. Definitely gonna go full on fde instead. Question now is, fde sopmod or str stock for the afghan.

LOL ruin was the wrong word. It's like the guys that add parts to their already nice cars for the sake of adding stuff. You know what i mean?

And why not just stick with the FDE VLTOR Imod stock? It's one of my favorites of all time. Good cheek weld without being too large. Plus it matches your upper.

Yeah I was planning on keeping one, which would render the other one on the afghan all black. I wanna keep some sort of FDE theme going on the afghan as well, so that stock is gonna have to be replaced. As well as the miad once I put them back together.

I was more doing it for the sake of breaking up the profile of the weapons like they do on ships and jets and stuff lol. Wasn't going for that "ricer" look

PSA 16 inch M4gery carbine. Don't ask me what kind of free float quad rail it is because I don't know. I have a REAL good friend that gave it to me, so I didn't bother asking.
Optic is a Leupold Prismatic. (It wasn't free)

My first ar.
A budget build, but it shoots great!

Upper: Rguns m4 profile, non chrome barrel 16" 1:9 twist
Lower: Spikes
Stock: Magpul MOE
Magazine: Magpul Pmag
Grip: Magpul Miad basic
Optics: Vortex Sparc
Sights: Rear Magpul MBUS
Handguard: Magpul MOE
Vertical Grip: Tapco, shortened about 1/2"
LPK: DPMS
Buffer Tube Assembly: Ati mil spec

Got it sighted in with a mere 10rds.
Here is my first group from 50yds, after sighting in the Sparc.
Used PMC Xtac 55gr.

That was the best group the gun has ever shot.
It groups nice though.
Here is what the avg target looks like at the end of the day.
That was with shooting 3 different types of ammo, hence the poi shifts.
PMC Xtac 55gr grouped the best.
Don't mind all the taped up white areas, I was letting other people shoot my ar and ak74 that day.

I'm normally a mil-spec freak. But, if the A2 grip and the m4 stock was gone this is prolly one of the most beautiful rifles I've ever seen. Great job op. Awesome garden too.

Thanks! I put a lot of thought into it, and its my first build. I agree on both points though, the stock is as good as gone, the grip is on its way!

Just ordered this guy - the Sierra Precision grip.. great price on this site http://www.sinclairintl.com/gun-part...prod34900.aspx This looks just right for what I want. I'll wait a bit on the PRS stock though, I want to get the trigger first. lol.
