Well, I do work just north of Petaluma about 2 weeks out of every month.
And I stay at the motel there for 5 days. That is where I got my soap and shampoo.

As for your defender, I will ask you a few questions. I don't think you need a new board. I'll bet that you have a bad connection on the power supply.

And when you replaced that board, you corrected the connection problem on the power supply... temporaly.

I'll send you my number and I'll step you through it.

oh yeah, i've seen that. nothing new to me.

filipinos will keep gatorade bottles and put adobo in it and freeze it. or they will keep all the plastic containers you get from restaurants when you take food to go.... wash them, and reuse them.

OK, I am not cheap and I am not on some @#$% tv show.

The next time any of you order a pizza, And they offer you cheese or peppers, tell them NO!

When you go through the clown fast food and they ask if you want that red crap for your french fries, ask only for ONE packet. Then count the packets. I'll bet you'll find more than one in your bag.

This thread is wildly hilarious!!!

Okay I will play... Starbucks has a rewards program sign up buy a $5 Starbucks card then buy the SHORT size hot coffee refill it 4x in the same visit. (If you do not want all the coffee just pour it out.)

The next day your card should be at GREEN level FREE Starbucks hot OR iced coffee refills for a year.

Bring in your own mug/cup and you will get a cup discount on your first coffee just buy the smallest size and you can refill with any size coffee as many times as you like!

Your welcome.

Filipinos are not the only cheapskates out there!

And they call me a hoarder. I just can't see tossing all that in the trash.

And thanks for the idea.

2 cups of hot water
Add 10 packs of Ketchup
1 pack of red pepper

Stir and you have spicy ketchup soup ?

And you call me cheap?

go to a restaurant, just order ice water. Take a bunch of lemons for the iced tea, pour a bunch of sugar in it. Free lemonade. LOL

We did build a windmill, and I do have solar panals. Near Kramer Junction. Also, we do have a 500 gal tank and we do collect rain water, filter it and use it to fill our watering hole. We have many birds, rabbits, foxes and other critters that come to our watering hole.

FREE FOOD (Sort of).

Why bum smokes? Do what my brother does. He picks up butts, takes them apart and adds them toghther to make NEW smokes. BLEAAAAAA Gross

Default Funny Story

My girl Friend lives in the desert and she calls me every week. A few months ago, when she called me, she had shot a jack rabbit and was making a stew. Guess what she added to the stew? Red Pepper from the pizza man.

She also asked for money so she can get some clothing. I ask what did she do with the jackrabbit skin ?

I sent her another $500.00

Last thing I wanted to see was her NEW Jack Rabbit Thong..

Am I sick or what?

It's funny how some freedom-minded gun-owners go on and on about the evils of an entitlement population, yet think nothing of taking from the "haves."

I just ordered a pizza last nite. I was asked "Would you like some cheese and peppers ?". I said "Yes Please" And the pizza guy gave me a plastic bag with 10 peppers and 10 cheeses.

And you are calling me an "entitlement-talist?

What would you have me do? Throw them away? in the trash? Waste food?

I beleve in the following: YOU don't work, You don't eat. BUT......

I do understand that there are some people that we need support that can't work. Like the GI that lost both arms in battle. I will do whatever I can to help the guy out.
BUT I will not help that fellow that drives a new car every year, Has that fancy new I-phone, Walks on two legs has arms and hands, AND can work.
Oh yea... He has a handycap plates.

================================================== ========
As I said before, It's free...sort of. Resterants give out free stuff all the time.
And, YES it is part of of the cost of the food. BUT, the next time you go to a resterant and order a breakfast, Check out your toast. If it comes with jelly, and you don't use it, GUESS WHAT. The resterant is REQUIRED to throw the UN-USED jellys in the TRASH. That is STATE LAW.
Sorry, I will take it home, because, I paid for it with money I earned by working at that Damm place where I have to be nice to the dirt-bags that bring their smelly little brats to run around ripping the **** out of my games, making a mess of my salad bar and screaming to high levels that everyone took cover thinking that an Air Raid siren just sounded off.

Darn you. I started this just to help people start prepping something. I did not think someone was going to call me a .......

This is me..... You have been messing with the bull.

Win!

Sad thing is, according to FORBES, American Parmesan cheese is FAKE!!

not sure if there still likes this but arbys use to keep all there plastic ware and condiments out for the customer. I liked them since they had mayonnaise / BBQ sauce as well as mustered / ketchup pepper salt. I haven’t been to one in years but just outa high school i was broke and semi homeless so would head there when i got a few bucks, so i could grab a little extra plastic ware for my "camp". id even ask the workers about it and they didn’t mind, but ididn’t go crazy either just a few extra.
One of my friends now owns and runs a restaurant, he hates old ladys and men. Its amazing the amount of stuff people take / steal from places. Its why retail stuff is priced so high over cost since there’s so much employee theft as well as normal theft. I try not to judge people since you have no idea where there coming from but i abhor theft to my very soul. i cant say im innocent as ive stolen food from a super mamarket or two when hunger got the better of me. Even as a child i stole some none essential items baseball cards / micro machines / cigarets. If you have the means and your a thief though... o wait there i go judging people again.

I don't fault you. I have done things in my past that if I were to do today, I would be on all news for weeks.
Again, Please let me be clear about this. I am not saying that everyone go down to your local fast food and take everything. That was not what I was trying to say.
If you buy coffie, and you use cream, go ahead. I don't, so I don't take it. But, when I go to eat, What I don't eat, I take home and eat later.

Go to any other country and you will see that you can't get any of that stuff for free, most of the time you are lucky to find a toilet seat let alone paper! I am sure that will happen here too soon enough.

Cleaned out a storage locker today, Nothing exciting, BUT Next door, Another fellow was cleaning out his storage And He was throwing stuff away. I saw a number of those Nato fuel cans and ask him what was he going to do with them. He said that if I wanted them, it's $5.00 each. I bought all 8.

He wasn't a prepper, His car was way too fancy and he had an I-whatever glued to his head.

Not free, but big savings for me.

I think you would be very surprised to find out what some of those people are packing away

Trust me dude. where ever you work at observe the next time your job or company treats the workers to a full lunch. You'll see the filipinos stuffing their plates and covering it with another plate and putting rubber bands around the whole thing to hold it in place.

I remember while in college (late 80's) that one of my friends and I went prepping (before it was called prepping, back then it was called poor college student)in the cafeteria in the style that was mentioned above. We decided to get free soda.

My buddy brought a back pack with an empty 2 liter bottle and decided to pour glasses of soda into the bottle. It sounds great! free soda! Upon pouring we experienced a horrible disaster! It seems that the soda ran down the side of the glass totally missing the bottle and soaking his crotch. After the shock of the cold, all my buddy could say was Ahh F***. I instantly knew what happened and couldn't stop laughing. We ended up sitting there for about 30 more minutes till the soda on his jeans dried enough to be able to walk back to our dorms without too much shame.

Be careful of what you get for free sometimes, its not worth it!

Yes, I do work. I am trying to pay off my credit cards. And if you want STD, I do know some girls in San Diego you can visit.

I just ordered a pizza last night, From MMP. I guess they read my posting. I didn't get any cheese or peppers. But I got a great pizza and that will last me 3 days.

Question? Does anyone know anything about Gleaners? I know that they give food to the needy. NO !!! I don't go to the Gleaners. There are needy people that needs the food more than I do.

I'll work for my crap.

I havenít been to one in years but just outa high school i was broke and semi homeless so would head there when i got a few bucks, so i could grab a little extra plastic ware for my "camp". id even ask the workers about it and they didnít mind, but ididnít go crazy either just a few extra.
One of my friends now owns and runs a restaurant, he hates old ladys and men. Its amazing the amount of stuff people take / steal from places. Its why retail stuff is priced so high over cost since thereís so much employee theft as well as normal theft.
How about The Hat, their pastramis and chilli cheese fries are killer. But on topic, they have the ketchup, mayo, mustard, horse radish etc... all out for the customer to take. To be honest the only thing I ever loaded up on was the yellow peppers.

filipinos will keep gatorade bottles and put adobo in it and freeze it. or they will keep all the plastic containers you get from restaurants when you take food to go.... wash them, and reuse them.

Gillious,

You seem to be embarrassed of your own kind. Calling them sons of *****es is not cool. Your mom/ dad or grandmother/ grandfather where immigrants at one point in their life, that's why you are here.

Now I don't condone hoarding or smooching of others, but if you knew what these "immigrants" went through in the Philippines you would know why they do what they do.

I'll play.
At the grocery store I always ask for paper bags. I save them and use them for kindling to start my wood stove that we heat our entire house with from wood harvested here by me.

Instead of ordering take-out and getting free condiments, make your own food and buy the same condiment packets in bulk with the money saved by cooking for yourself. You'll have more money, more condiments, and better food.

Agreed. Laughing my *** off. Totally my Grandma.

On a serious note though that generation went through the kind of suffering and deprevation in the Great Depression that necessitated that behavior. We may find out soon enough.
