Default Private Firearms Sales - AR section

How about creating a separate listing for selling AR type weapons. I have noticed that a new bump only stays on page one for about 40 minutes. At times 80% of the listings are for ARs and this makes us wade thru countless lines of items that we may not have an interest in at that time. Just a thought.

Default Happiness

A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and an AR; what else does a man need to be happy?

Default Seach for what?

We can only do that if we know what we're looking to buy. The seach function isn't very precise nor key word limiting.

Can we have one for 1911s too? How about NFA items?

A separate AR section is a fantastic idea. As a newbie to Calguns and just spending the last 2 weeks neck deep in the for sale sections, this would have been a great help!

I just use advanced search, select the private firearms sales section in the marketplace, and type in "ar-15" which usually brings results.

I beleive the OP is saying that if we are selling sumthing other than AR type riffles it will get lost in the first couple pages due to so many people selling there riffles

That's great, now try non-AR.

As for the 1911, FN, etc. site, I don't think that is necessary. You have missed my point.

Anyone else notice the crappy search results in private arm sales?

I'm trying to find a nice 700 sps in 308 and it's not giving me anything unless I'm searching on my phone lol. At first I thought it was one of those lame 3 character problems that lots of forums have but it won't even pull up "remington"!

Yes, search seems to be functioning poorly currently. I also would like to see an AR section so I could avoid the overpricing.

Yep.

It's really overrun with page after page of AR's and lowers.

How about 'Tactical Rifles' or 'EBRs" or "Semi-Auto Centerfires".

why not set up a Norcal and Socal forum and have a Pistol and Rifle and Ammo sub section for each of them

It would be really nice if there were also sections for handguns only, shotguns only and bolt action only. Having a generic "firearms" only sub forum is a pain in the *** to wade through all the other stuff you are not interested in.

Use google search if your trying to narrow things down.
Separating those types of rifles is what the anti gunners are trying to do right now....

Well now that you mention it yeah. I think that's one of the dumbest comments I've read on here lately. And that is saying a lot.

Lol, since analytical thinking and reading comprehension seem to be a challenge for you, I will break it down. The part where you compare making a forum subsection easier to use, to the gun grabbers is dumb.
