Now guys, let's show some CA hospitality!

OP, try this site

http://gun-deals.com/ammo

In particular http://gun-deals.com/ammo.php?caliber=.22+LR

Ammo is just tough to find nowadays with the panic, I'm guessing NY has more panic than the rest of us.

Target practice and squirrels..... Ya know..... them PCP airguns in calibers from 0177 to .50 does MAJOR damage on squirels, rabbits, 'coons, boars...etc. No FFL or registration there. YouTube "Airgun Hunting". take a look.

Don't you have to pass a background check first?

Please read the following link before selling ammo to anyone in New York state: http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...d.php?t=483425

Apparently the new law there requires registration/background check before ammo is sold and the requirement is on the SELLER. While the link is only to a discussion about the new law, better to be safe than sorry.

I AM NOT defending the NY law just pointing out to my fellow CalGuns members to be very careful selling ammo. This post is not meant to prompt a discussion on any state's new laws.

ok,,,I DID use Google and most all the sites are on backorder...there isnt even a box of 50 anywhere around....As for the NY State law, I called the 800# that goes to the State Police answer dept on the new laws...The background check on ammo doesnt go into effect until 1/14/14

I asked him what would stop a person from driving over the Pa border and buying it there....he said "nothing" from the tone of his voice I felt he was NOT in favor of the law...

The pistol permit will need to be renewed every 5 yrs or updated...another NY charge im sure...

I was looking to see if anyone had any bulk 22 ammo to sell reasonable...Gunbroker is getting 17.00 per hundred for the Remington bulk...that is not reasonable..
Thx fellas

Yes I see people paying 70.00 or more for red box federal bulk packs that are 21.00 when Walmart has them. Now I know there is not much in the Walmarts to buy, but these people buying this .22 for over three times retail makes me laugh. Wish I could find suckers like that when I sell stuff.LOL

I have 5000 rounds plus so I can wait till things go back to normal. Even if I had only ten rounds I would not pay what people currently are. It will not be long and it will be readily available again..Wish I could help you out and would if you were local. Maybe someone in the NY area would be best to find some. Or move I guess. I can still find CCI Standard Velocity bricks for 40.00 local at one place. Still a little high but not too bad.

Goodluck

yea I hear ya...the lady at Walmart said it will be awhile because every case that comes in is gone in minutes..she gets over 100 calls a day looking for .22
