Default ATI Confirms the MP-40 will be released this year

I talked to an ATI rep and he confirmed that the MP-40 will be one of their focuses this year. He said they ran into some trouble last year but he is very certain that we'll get the MP-40 this year. They have decided to go with a faux suppressor so the rifle doesn't get SBR'd. The stock will fold depending on the state.

I also saw one of the distributors had the gun on display so I'm going to say we are indeed getting the MP-40 in .22 LR this year.

Wow that's is going to be the only way for me to own a Stg-44 and Mp-40. If the Mp-40 is light unlike the super heavy Stg-44 clone I might check it out.

It's pretty hefty. Not as heavy as the STG but definitely heavier than the MP5 clones.

Real Mp40's are pretty heavy, at nearly 9lbs. I shot one in Vegas once; they're large compared to modern third generation SMG's.

The part that concerns me on these is the magazine. .22lr due to it's rimmed cartridge does not work that well in long, straight magazines. It will be interesting to see how they solve those problems.

Interesting and explains the high cap. .22LR mags I see. I didn't know this...

Yes, old thread I know. But I learned something
So where are the MP-40's? It's almost the end of the year.

I would love to get one, but the unauthentic longer barrel with fake can had to ruin it. It's coming in December according to this ATI booth:
