Default Is an aftermarket sight better than the stock front bead?

I shoot primarily sporting clays, but want to get back into trap as well. I started out with a Remington 870 but have been using a Browning Citori for the past year. Each of these has used a single front bead, so this is what I'm used to. I've seen aftermarket replacement sights (i.e. HiViz) and was wondering if it's worth it to upgrade. Do the fiber optic sights really make a big difference?
