You would think that with the flood of orders... that they would almost be out of things to sell, thereby allowing on time shipments of new orders.

Everyone is getting slammed with orders. Most major retailers are clearly listing that there is a delay in shipping. PSA was not the quickest before this craziness so stay patient it will come.

There is no excuse for poor customer service. Not just Palmetto but just about every place out there right now. I get busy at my company but I don't use it as an excuse.

It has been 10, maybe 11 business days since you ordered. It says in red words in the website to allow up to 15 business days for your order to ship.

Obviously it would be nice it they shipped sooner, but everyone is getting slammed right now.

Just got a PSA delivery yesterday (1/16/13) for an order I placed on 12/27/12. And I would imagine that any orders placed after that date would probably take a little longer as order volume has been pretty much exponential.

I emailed about my two orders, she emailed me back and asked the orders numbers, then when I sent them, she sent me the text on the webpage about waiting 15 days. Y'know, I read that already, silly girl.

A while ago I ordered the MOE fixed stock kit from PSA while it was in stock. A few days went by and then it showed out of stock but my order hadn't shipped yet. My order finally shipped and everything was fine. Took just over a week to ship but i was nervous too. Funny thing is, my first transaction with PSA ever was for 2 complete uppers and 2 lower build kits. That order shipped in 2 days! That was in march of 2012 though...

Patience is key

I placed a small order for some .38, .357 and 9mm on 1/2. It arrived today. I would not even consider trying to order .223 or 7.62 X39 and expect it soon. If your order contained any .223 it could be a long wait. Most places are just being slammed,

Anyone order the upper that was in stock on 12-17 and get it yet?
I got an order conformation 12-18, but still shows processing. Emailed Mon. just to check on it, but no reply back yet on that.
I know everyone is slammed, but I thought check.

I ordered an upper three or four weeks ago. They just sent me shipping notification last night. As I recall they usually run two weeks behind, but with the recent panic they would have to be further behind.

There's an official "where's my order thread"
These date WAY further back that the current slam...I'd imagine if it was bad then, it is worse now..

http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_301/2...er_thread.html

A lot of people get shipping info that sits for long periods of time, gets canceled and replaced by another number...

Oh here we go. Again.
I've bought cases and cases of ammo from PSA. Uppers, complete rifles. They are good to go. It took me 3 weeks to get my last ammunition order. It's to be expected. They're a small business not a huge vendor like cabelas and comparing the two is ridiculous.

Yep, I ordered a handguard that was "in stock" on the 3rd, waited until a few days ago to send an email asking for info on my order. I figured everyone was slammed and figured a few weeks was quite long enough. (I had orders from 3 other vendors placed the same day... all 3 arrived well before I even emailed Palmetto.)
Received an email yesterday stating that they are overwhelmed and to allow 15 business days for items to ship out.
I understand that retailers are getting swamped but, I was quite disappointed to hear that there would be a 3 week delay for "in stock" items to make it on a truck.
I just wish that they had made things more clear that there would be such a long delay. If their inventory is so large that they can get this behind from a massive rush of sales. Then I would be inclined to think that their shipping and receiving department in not on par with their inventory.
Oh well I will just have to be patient a while longer.
However if it were my business I would call the temp agency and get some more labor over there to help pack those boxes. Thats just me though.
Patience patience patience I guess.

Ordered LPK w/ Gisselle trigger on 12/26. I called to cancel 2 weeks later and was informed of the restocking fee and decided to let it ride. Still has not shipped.

I ordered from Bravo Company 2 nights ago, they called me the next morning to confirm shipping address and my item was shipped the same day. Thumbs up for Bravo Company. Not all companies are shipping slow.

With PSA I ordered 12/24 received 1/11. Not so bad. Ordered a Upper & Lower Build Kit.

Also just ordered on 1/14 and 1/15 lets see how long they'll take. PSA is usually slow but I have always received my parts from them. One time I ordered 3 Lower Build Kit and only 1 came, sent them a email it was shipped out the next day.

3 weeks is about right. Just got my order for LPK build kit after placing in late December. Its like you place and order and you dont see anything in your email for like two weeks and then wait another two after that to get your stuff.

PSA's shipping sucks, always has. Pretty much just forget about it after you order something, eventually....one day.... it should show up.

I just received an order from PSA 2 days ago, I can't even recall when I had placed that order.....

If you want something fast, Primary Arms, BCM, MidwayUSA, and Cabelas have all been fast shippers for me. Primary Arms are REALLY fast.

How you going to let them do you like that? A restocking fee for a part that is either still sitting on their shelf or that they havent even inventoried yet? That's bad business. I know they waste ZERO time charging your card so maybe they should call it an administrative fee. LOL.

Read their home page, they tell you that there is going to be a big delay. Palmetto has always been like this ever since they offered free shipping promo last year. It seemed like they never recovered and not willing to fix the situation with more employees. I think of Palmetto as a company that cares about quantity than quality.
