Default nice to see a Turners store look back to normal

left the kearny mesa store yesterday & saw an AR, m1a, & even a sks on the shelf. nice to see that those bare spots are looking filled. hopefully the panic is dying down.

now i need to get one of those rock island 1911 tacticals....

Reminds me of Johnny Carson making jokes during commercial breaks on the Tonight Show. He started one joke, "Did you hear there is going to be a toilet paper shortage?" then they cut to a commercial and home viewers did not hear the rest of the joke. The next day stores were flooded with TP buyers and indeed a shortage was created.

Go to the Norwalk store and you'd think they got crates of Yugo's in, until they inform you that all the ones in the rack are sold. Big teases.

Except Norwalk did have two ARs on consignment. They were not sold yet since they are asking $3000 each. One was Sig but I didn't see what the other was.

In the Pasadena store today, two of the four gun counters were almost empty, like two guns in each counter. Maybe 8 1911's, and a few consignment guns. I couldn't believe it.

Turners had 8 SKS's in Torrance yesterday, but it turned out 3 were sold but not marked - so 5 remaining yugo's. Or you could get a .22 revolver for $400 LNIB ....

Went to reseda turners yesterday. 9:50 only six in line got served in few minutes . Looking for sale 45 acp last one sold night before. The salesman was polite and called other stores that showed inventory, but all sold. No impatience on his part at all. best experience I have ever had there. When I left at 10:30 maybe 15 people in line.

One of the counter girls said that they're expecting a .223/5.56 shipment next Tuesday. Wonder if the staff is capable of cherry-picking that stuff for themselves, though...

Just left the Covina store. Not much in long guns or hand guns. Ammo section was bare too.

They do, whether or not they are supposed to is a different story. But I did see one of the guys grab the last box of something that was on sale. He took it to the back and put it away.

I was at reseda today. Things returning to normal it seems. More choices of ammo and rifles are showing up. Not seeing too much restock on pistols.

I will never give my business to anyone except Turners Corona! They never manipulated their prices unlike other gun stores. Kudos to Turners!
